"Dr. Martinez!"
Emily Davis called out, and Emily slightly furrowed her eyebrows.
"Emily, you're here!"
Dr. Martinez walked over with a warm smile, then glanced at me, displeased. "Emily, who is he? I've never seen him before."
"This is inappropriate, how can you just touch a patient like that! Step back immediately!"
Dr. Martinez pointed at me and said unceremoniously.
I frowned but didn't say anything, taking a few steps back.
Emily Davis said, "Dr. Martinez, I invited him. I want him to take a look at Christina."
Dr. Martinez was taken aback and said in astonishment, "Take a look? At what?"
Emily Davis said awkwardly, "He knows a bit about medicine."
Dr. Martinez burst into laughter upon hearing this, "Emily, are you joking! Look at him, he's so young, must be just starting college. How could he possibly know medicine?"
He thought Emily Davis was joking.
Emily Davis's eyebrows furrowed slightly, a bit displeased, "Dr. Martinez, I'm serious, he really knows medicine!"
