Chapter 89 - The Price Doesn't Matter

On the road leading to the county town, a small tricycle was speeding along.

In front, sat a somewhat handsome young man in a white shirt, and behind him, sat a pure and exquisite girl in a school uniform, bright-eyed and white-toothed.

Facing the wind, she lifted her face, a pure and innocent smile on her delicate cheeks.

"Charlie, your vehicle is so comfortable! It's much better than taking the bus!" Kimberly said with a smile.

I smiled and said, "Kimberly, today is just registration day, right? So, there's no rush to go to school. I'll take you to buy some things. Your phone is quite old, isn't it? Let's get a new one. And clothes, I noticed you don't have many sets, so we should buy a few."

"Ah? There's no need!" Kimberly quickly shook her head.

I said, "Yes, there is. For kids like us from the mountain villages, studying in the city isn't easy. I know this feeling well. Besides, how can a girl like you not have some nice clothes?"

Kimberly paused, gently biting her lip.
