Ember walked out of the room, leaving the couple to their own devices.
She didn't just stand outside; she went to Aiden's study. He had asked her to come to him when she was finished.
When she stepped inside, she didn't see Ivan. She looked around, trying to find him.
"Don't look, he isn't here. I sent him away for a while." Aiden said while steering Ember to the bookshelf in the study.
Ember felt Aiden's hand tighten on hers. She didn't think it was anything strange. She expected him to have something to say to her since he asked to meet here.
Taking a deep breath, Aiden, move a book to the side to reveal a small button. He pushed the button and went inside.
On the other side, Adrienne and her husband Alex were seated in the living room. They were both trying hard not to rip each other's clothes off.
