Aiden, the patron saint of patience, addressed Valentina.
"Valentina, lovely to see you're feeling well. Did you find a way to fix your prior issue?"
The issue he was referring to was her coming into their room. Whether pretending to be drugged or actually drugged, it didn't matter. The fact that she was able to find their room so accurately meant she either saw them come in or someone informed her.

Aiden closed the car door, turning to Ember.
"I'll explain when we get home. Just you and me."
He kissed her on her forehead while she glared daggers at him.
He opened the car door and tried to get in before Ember.
He thought putting them together would cause a fight.
As he was about to step in, he felt Ember dragging him back.
"Who let you sit beside that bitch?" she whispered, before sliding into the car.
Aiden laughed.
