The next day at the fans meet
The venue was a whirlwind of chaos, fans screaming and cameras flashing as Han and his group, "Echoes," took the stage for a meet-and-greet. Han, Jake, Kai, and Jace were all smiles, posing for photos and signing autographs as they worked the crowd.
Taejoon stood at the edge of the room, trying to blend into the background. He wore a face mask and a baseball cap, pulled low over his eyes, hoping to avoid attention.
As Han laughed with a fan, his eyes flicked to Taejoon, a flash of reassurance in his gaze. Taejoon responded with a subtle nod, his expression neutral.
The crowd was eating it up, fans squealing over the group's dynamics. As they moved to the next activity, a fan suddenly recognized Taejoon. "Wait, is that... Taejoon?!"
The room's focus shifted, cameras swinging towards him. Taejoon's eyes narrowed, and he turned, making a quick exit. 😊
Han's smile faltered for a split second before he jumped into action. "Okay, guys! Time for a quick break! Echoes, let's grab some water!"
The group followed Han's lead, moving to a designated area as security stepped in, blocking the media's path. Taejoon disappeared into the crowd, his face hidden.
Han joined him a moment later, voice low. "You okay?"
Taejoon nodded, mask still in place. "Yeah. Just... didn't want to steal the spotlight."
Han's eyes crinkled at the corners. "Too late for that."
Han pulled Taejoon into a quiet room, the chaos of the venue muffled by the door. Taejoon's eyes scanned the space before he closed the door, his arms wrapping around Han's waist. "You okay?"
Han smiled, nipping at Taejoon's jaw. "I'm fine." He kissed Taejoon's cheek, his voice soft. "You should be home waiting for me. You're... an idol, just like us. The fans will raise suspicions if they see you here."
Taejoon chuckled, his grip tightening. "Idol? I'm just a guy who loves you." He leaned in, his voice a whisper. "I'll leave, but I needed to make sure you're okay. Mako..."
Han's expression turned serious, his eyes flashing with a mix of warning and reassurance. "I'll tell you later, okay? Just trust me."
Taejoon's gaze lingered on Han's face, searching for answers. He nodded, his voice low. "Okay. But I'm not leaving until this event is over. I'll stay out of sight."
Han's smile was a mix of amusement and exasperation. "Stubborn." He kissed Taejoon, soft and quick. "Go hide, then. I'll find you when I'm done."
Time skip after the meeting with fans
The group's laughter echoed through the dressing room as Jace, Kai, and Adriel teased Han about Taejoon's overprotective nature. Han chuckled, shaking his head. "Guys, stop."
Jace's grin was mischievous. "So, how's everything going? Is Mako still... taking control of Taejoon's body?"
Han's expression turned serious, and he sighed. "Yeah... I was attached yesterday again."
Kai's eyes widened. "Han, are you okay?"
Han nodded, reassuring them. "I'm fine. Just... tired of it."
Adriel's gaze narrowed. "So that's why Taejoon's been watching you like a hawk."
Han smiled softly. "Yeah. He found me unconscious yesterday. He's been worried."
Jace's voice was gentle. "Han, are you gonna tell him? About Mako taking control of his body?"
Han shook his head, his voice barely above a whisper. "No... Taejoon's not aware he's the one hurting me when Mako's in control. I don't want him to blame himself or do anything stupid."
The room fell silent, the group's expressions somber. Kai spoke up, "We'll support you, Han. Whatever you need."
Han nodded, grateful. "Thanks, guys. I just... want to protect Taejoon. He's already got enough on his plate."
Later that day both idols and Alpha Boys went to a koreake just to have fun
The neon lights of the karaoke bar flickered as the group settled in, laughing and chatter filling the air. Harrison, Lorenzo Hudson, Ace, Adriel, Caleb, and Taejoon – the alpha boys – mingled with Han, Jace, Kai, and Adriel – the idols. The night was about to get fun.
