Outside of fandom hours, I have worked as a prosecutor for a considerable number of years now. The handle is not just aesthetic. It is a statement of fact. Over the course of my career I have worked alongside the FBI, the CBP, and Homeland Security across multiple cases — sometimes individually, occasionally two of them together, and on rare and extremely hectic occasions, all three simultaneously. The agents currently in the process of introducing Kang Seo-yul to the floor? FBI. The figures you can make out in the background if you zoom into the left side of the photo? CBP and Homeland Security. I understand they may appear visually similar to the untrained eye but there are tells — the way they position themselves, the gear, the badges, the jurisdictional choreography of how they're arranged in the space. You develop an eye for it. As for the CIA — haven't had the pleasure yet, and honestly I suspect I never will, given that the entire point of the CIA is that you don't know they're there. So.

"Wow," Hyouka said, scrolling through Z with the quiet reverence of someone watching a natural disaster unfold in real time from a very safe distance. A shiver ran visibly down her spine. "Papa Foca is actually scary." A beat. "No — scratch that. The whole Foca family is scary."
"Don't be too surprised just yet, my dearest assistant," Foca said, in that voice of his — soft, warm, perfectly pleasant — except for the smile. The smile that sat just slightly outside the boundaries of what a completely normal smile looked like. The eeriness of it wasn't loud. It didn't announce itself. It just... lingered, the way a drop of ink spreads through water. Quietly. Completely. "The main event hasn't happened yet."
"And from what I've already heard," Luca said, leaning back with the self-satisfied smirk of a man holding cards he very much enjoyed holding, "it's going to be absolutely epic."
"WHAT." Tuesday's head turned so fast it should have made a sound. One eyebrow climbed to its maximum elevation. "He gets SPOILERS?! Oh, hell to the NAH." She gestured between herself and the general concept of fairness in the universe. "Where is the equity? Where is the justice? Am I not your best friend too, boo boo?
