Chapter 81 - Falling in Place (pt.13)

After the performance, Nikola, Isaac, Leo, and Nox immediately collapsed into a tight group hug—bright smiles, shaky breaths, adrenaline still buzzing through their veins. Even after leaving the stage, the high hadn't faded. If anything, it was still coursing through them, loud and electric.

Tuesday wasted no time.

"Y'all are sweet and spicy," she said, nails clicking with emphasis. "That innocent kind of sexy? Oh, y'all played that perfectly. Your voices were smooth and sultry in all the right places—never too much, never too little. And that shirt-lift into the body roll during the chorus?" She gasped dramatically. "Simple. Deadly. Effective."

She leaned forward, laughing. "Did y'all hear the audience during that part? I swear someone screamed so hard they choked on their own soul. You had everybody in a chokehold—and you kept it."

Then Luca stood.

"I know this is long overdue," he said, clapping loudly as he turned to Nox, "but Nox—welcome to the competition, buddy."

The theater erupted.

Nox's fandom screamed the loudest, chanting his name as his teammates hyped him up, clapping his back and pulling him into the moment. Nox stood there glowing—no longer blending in, no longer in the background.

"You are a beast on that stage," Luca continued. "With no one holding you back, you became a monster—the good kind. Turns out, you just needed to be surrounded by beasts of the same caliber. That was incredible."

Luca turned next to Leo, shaking his head in disbelief.

"Leo… you started this competition dead last, almost blowing out your vocal cords trying to sing way outside your range. And now? You're almost unrecognizable from the Leo of the first evaluations. Night and day, man. Truly impressive growth."

Then Isaac.

"You've always had a voice that touches the heart, no matter the song. You bring your heart to the table every single time—and that raw, unfiltered sincerity? It reached people tonight." He smiled knowingly. "Including animals."

The audience laughed.

"And finally," Luca said, facing Nikola, "BBoy Nikola."

Nikola straightened instinctively.

"No matter what you do, you give 100 percent and then some. You never hold back. You've shown us an art form that blends athleticism and artistry so beautifully. At this point, you're not just a b-boy anymore—you're a bonafide artist."

Then Foca stepped forward.

"You guys did such a wonderful job," he said warmly. "And if you haven't guessed already—yes, I made this song too."

The crowd groaned and laughed in unison.

"I gave you this song to push you outside your comfort zones. And you didn't just rise to the challenge—you owned it. I could hear each of your signatures clearly. Leo's rock influence. Isaac's raw emotion. Nikola's melodic cadence. And Nox—your grounding presence tying everything together."

He smiled proudly. "That performance screamed you four. And I couldn't be more proud."

The group exploded into celebration—jumping, laughing, bowing deeply before thanking the evaluators, the audience, and viewers at home before sprinting backstage.

Now, only two performances remained.

As the next behind-the-scenes footage played, the screen revealed Kang Ian and Mika—and the audience immediately went ballistic.

From day one, these two had been front-runners. Never faltering. Never fading. Always delivering. Their chemistry was electric, their artistry undeniable. Whenever they were together, expectations skyrocketed.

This time, though, they weren't alone.

When August, Ahn Jae, and Silas appeared on screen, shockwaves rippled through the crowd.

@GoldenBaby: OMG—August, Ahn Jae, and Silas too?! First performance since signing with Bread Music??

@Sleep_is_for_the_weak: GenPro reunion on THIS stage?!

@Rumi: Mika added to this lineup?? That's a scary vocal line.

@Yoyo: Mika + Ahn Jae?? Main vocal heaven.

@Oppa-ya: Silas and Kang Ian back together—rap line about to destroy us.

@AugustsLeftPinkie: August's sunshine is about to blind us 😭

Expectations soared. Pressure mounted.

But for the five of them?

They looked comfortable.

This was the stage to prove why Kang Ian and Mika deserved to be signed—and why August, Ahn Jae, and Silas were scouted in the first place. This wasn't about redemption.

This was about reclamation.

They weren't leftovers from Genesis Project, no matter what the internet said.

They were the ones that got away.

And now—free from restrictions, contracts, and limits—they were ready to show the world exactly what they were made of.

As the footage ended, the lights dimmed.

Anticipation thickened, almost tangible.

Day-one fans clasped their hands in silent prayers.

Haters hovered over their keyboards, waiting for a single misstep.

The stage held its breath.
