Chapter 70 - Chapter 70: Fierce Battle

On the sea, two warships were approaching each other at astonishing speed. The howling sea wind carried a heavy scent of gunpowder, foretelling the imminent intense battle.

"It's too late, Ashura Doji!" Raizo shouted, his scroll tracing an elegant arc through the air, precisely collecting all the incoming cannonballs. "We have to break through head-on now!"

Ashura Doji stood at the bow, his crimson hair whipping wildly in the wind. He narrowed his eyes, his sharp gaze piercing through the sea fog to lock onto the tall figure on the opposite deck. "All hands, prepare for boarding combat! Raizo, protect the ship!"

"Understood!" the Samurai responded in unison, drawing their swords. The blades gleamed with cold light in the sunlight, reflecting the resolute expressions on everyone's faces.

Meanwhile, arrogant laughter erupted from the enemy ship. "Hahaha, prepare to die, you small fry!" Bullet flexed his thick arms, dark Armament Haki flowing like liquid to cover them. "None of you will leave here alive!"

The moment the two ships collided, a deafening roar echoed across the sea. Amid flying wood splinters, combatants from both sides surged toward each other like tidal waves.

"Die!" Bullet took the initiative, his massive fist shooting toward Ashura Doji's face with a sound that tore through the air.

"Clang!" Katana met iron fist, sparks flying everywhere. Ashura Doji was forced back several steps, his hands numb from the impact. "Such power... Who are you people?"

"The dying don't need to know too much!" Bullet sneered, his fists raining down like hail. Each strike carried enough force to split mountains and crack stones, forcing Ashura Doji to retreat repeatedly.

Elsewhere, Moria swung his enormous blade, leaving carnage in his wake. "Yeehihihihi! More fear, please!"

"Stop!" Kin'emon leaped into the air, his blade bursting into roaring flames. "Foxfire Style: Fire Willow Flash!" The blazing slash forced Moria back, saving several Samurai.

"Oh? Interesting." Moria licked his lips, a dangerous glint flashing in his eyes. "You remind me of someone annoying... I'll take my frustration out on you!"

Amid the flashing blades, Kikunojo's long sword clashed fiercely with Gavin's dual blades. "Why are you attacking us?" she demanded, her sword techniques never faltering.

"Do Pirates need reasons for what they do?" Gavin sneered, his twin blades tracing bizarre arcs. "Just become our stepping stones obediently!"

Raizo was also locked in a difficult battle. Morris's sword moved like a venomous snake, nearly striking vital points several times. "Scroll-Scroll Technique: Return!" At the critical moment, Raizo unfurled his scroll, releasing the previously absorbed cannonballs with a roar.

"What?!" Morris hastily dodged, the cannonball grazing his cheek before exploding into flames behind him. "A Devil Fruit user?"

Meanwhile, Kurozumi Kanjuro was trading blows with several Pirate underlings.

Throughout the battlefield, the sounds of battle cries and clashing weapons rose and fell.

Even eight-year-old Enel swung his iron rod, his movements immature but his eyes flashing with a ferocity that didn't match his age.

"Everyone, hold on!" Ashura Doji shouted, his Katana suddenly wreathed in dark red Haki. "We must not fall here!"

Bullet grinned excitedly at the sight. "Finally getting serious? Let me see what the samurai of Wano Country are made of!"

The sea wind wailed as waves churned violently. This sudden encounter was escalating into an increasingly brutal confrontation.

The samurai formed a defensive formation back-to-back, each fully aware that today they would either fight their way out or perish here.

On the sea surface, two warships remained locked together after a violent collision. Amid flying wood splinters and spray, the duel between Ashura Doji and Bullet had reached its climax.

"Haa!" Ashura Doji roared, his katana enveloped in crimson Haki as he slashed fiercely toward Bullet. The blade tore through the air with a sharp whistle.

"Now that's more like it!" Bullet laughed maniacally, meeting the attack head-on with his pitch-black fist.

"Boom!" Two powerful Haki forces collided violently, the shockwave cracking the deck in all directions.

On another part of the battlefield, Kin'emon and Gecko Moria were locked in intense combat. Blazing flames and cold steel constantly clashed, erupting in dazzling flashes against the night sky.

Kin'emon wielded his burning longsword, executing the "Foxfire Style: Blazing Flame Slash" as scorching waves of fire surged toward his enemy like a wild beast.

"Kishishishi!" Moria let out his signature eerie laugh, his massive frame nimbly swinging his longsword. "Playing with fire before me? Your flames are still too green!" With a powerful two-handed swing, he cleanly sliced through the incoming flames.

Seizing the opportunity, Moria launched a fierce assault, his overwhelming blade pressure forcing Kin'emon to retreat repeatedly.

Their weapons clashed continuously, sparks flying in all directions. Though Kin'emon possessed masterful swordsmanship, he was gradually being overwhelmed by Moria's monstrous strength. His arms began to numb, and his footsteps grew heavy.

"Kishishishi! How much longer can you hold out?" Moria sneered while intensifying his attacks, each strike carrying devastating force.

"Bastard! Don't look down on me!" Kin'emon roared as he fought back desperately, but with little effect. Cold sweat beaded on his forehead, and his breathing grew ragged. This mismatched contest seemed to be turning against him.

Kikunojo found herself in an extremely perilous situation. Gavin wielded dual swords, his attacks falling like a storm, each strike precisely aimed at vital points. The sharp blades cut through the air with piercing sounds that chilled the blood.

"Little girl, your swordsmanship is quite good, but unfortunately you met me today," Gavin sneered before suddenly changing his blade trajectory. A cold flash of steel left a shocking gash on Kikunojo's arm.

"Ah! I'm a man!" Kikunojo endured the pain, gritting her teeth in retort while maintaining a firm grip on her longsword.

"What?" Gavin visibly faltered, then seemed to understand something, his eyes flashing with deeper disgust. "A cross-dresser deserves to die even more!"

Before the words faded, Gavin's assault abruptly accelerated. His twin swords became two silver lightning bolts, continuously adding fresh wounds to Kikunojo's body. Blood gradually soaked through her clothes, yet Kikunojo remained standing stubbornly, refusing to fall.

Raizo moved with the agility of the wind, continuously dodging and weaving through Morris's frenzied onslaught. Seizing an opening, he swiftly unrolled a scroll and shouted, "Scroll-Scroll Technique: Restraint!" Several pitch-black chains, as if alive, shot out from the scroll, coiling and twisting as they lunged toward Morris.

"Don't bother with these petty tricks," Morris sneered disdainfully, his blade tracing a sharp arc. "Wouldn't it be easier to just let me cut you down?" The chains shattered under the blade's gleam, scattering across the ground.

Seeing this, Raizo immediately shifted his hand seals, forming them rapidly. "Ninja Art: Flower Shuriken!" Several uniquely shaped shuriken spun through the air, flying straight at Morris.

While deftly evading the projectiles, Morris closed the distance swiftly, just as he was about to reach Raizo.

"Ninja Art: Clone Technique!" Raizo suddenly executed the clone technique, and seven or eight identical figures instantly scattered in all directions.

"What?" Morris furrowed his brow, slashing casually at one of the clones. "What kind of ability user are you?" The struck clone dissipated into a puff of white smoke.

In that moment of distraction, Raizo seized the opportunity to form seals once more. "Ninja Art: Lightning Flash Shuriken!" This time, the launched shuriken were wreathed in a blinding electrical glow.

"Ah!" Morris hastily raised his sword to block, but the electric current conducted through the metal blade, instantly paralyzing his entire body and freezing his movements.
