Chapter 68 - CHAPTER 67

"Get on your knees," Dina ordered.

"Alright, I'm sorry, you happy now?" Tony shot back.

Dina stared at him with a stoic expression. She opened a shadow portal at her feet and jumped inside.

"Where'd she go?" Hikiri asked.

"How should I know? I wasn't with you guys!" Tony replied.

Suddenly, Dina emerged from Tony's shadow, upside down. She flipped herself upright, planting her feet firmly, and slammed into Tony's back, knocking him off balance. He collapsed to the ground.

"Well, what a sight! Who'd believe that the guy who just hit us with such a monstrous attack is now flat on the ground, with a one-armed woman standing on his back, her other arm spinning like a top?" Dina taunted.

She pressed her foot on Tony's head, pushing it into the dirt. "Come on, if you apologize, I might just accept it."

"…Alright, alright… I'm sor—"

Deliberately pressing down on his head again, Dina cut him off. "Well? You gonna apologize or what?"

"How about… you take your… foot off my head first?" Tony mumbled, his face half-freed from the ground.

"Why are you complaining? It's not like you're gonna die, unlike us a few moments ago!"

"Done yet? I'm reminding you we need to go find the others," Hikiri interjected.

"Give me twenty more seconds, and we'll be good," Dina replied.

"…Ahh, that felt good!" she exclaimed, hopping off to the ground.

Tony stood up, his face covered in mud. "I'm gonna try to forget what you just did," he muttered.

"Oh, so you're threatening me now?" Dina retorted.

"From what I can see, you're missing one arm, and the other looks like it's in critical condition," Tony fired back.

"You could even spin it like a screwdriver!" Hikiri added, laughing.

"You, I'm warning you—if someone's gonna torture you, it'll be me," Dina snapped, shooting Hikiri a venomous glare.

"Alright, alright," Tony said, clapping his hands. "Where are the others?"

"You're asking about them now?" Dina said, incredulous.

"We think they're being held somewhere. So, it's lucky we ran into you—except for the part where you nearly killed us. And since you can literally turn into lightning, it should be easy for you to find them," Hikiri explained.

"Yeah, about that… I can only hold it for two minutes," Tony admitted.

"But last time, at that cannibal village, you lasted longer!" Dina pointed out.

"Yeah, true, but splitting myself into multiple lightning bolts is anything but pleasant. If I do it again right now, there's a fifty-fifty chance I'll die. Don't worry, though—I can still fly by making fire wings," Tony added.

"So, it's settled. Let's go," Hikiri concluded.

"Dina, we'll head down that way, but after that, it's up to you to catch up," Hikiri said.

"You think I'm stupid or something? Go on, get moving!" Dina replied.

Flames erupted from Tony's body, forming wings on his back. He started to float when Hikiri grabbed his leg.

"What are you doing?" Tony asked, startled.

"We're supposed to look for them together, so I'm holding onto your leg," Hikiri said.

I can't deal with her anymore, Tony thought.

"If you fall, that's your problem. Don't even bother screaming," Tony warned.

"Hmph, who do you take me for?" Hikiri shot back.

Tony took off into the sky, with Hikiri clinging to his leg.
