Aurelius lowered his massive head, eyes flickering like twin suns. His voice, now softer, resonated through the cavern:
>"Listen, children of light and shadow. The moon covenant was forged to bind three forces –human, demon, dragon– so the fragments power would never corrupt one alone. If each of us claim the shard, the balance holds; if not, the moon will shatter , drowning this world in endless night."
A pulse of violet-blue light surged from the altar, outlining three pedestal the rose from the cracked floor. On each pedestal rested a * gleaming Fragment*– the one Elshara held the silver-tinged shard from varkhal's wound, and the newly revealed night-constellation piece.
Varkhal's silvered shoulder pulsed in rhythm with the fragments. He hissed, "A pact... It could end this war, or seal our doomed forever. "
Elshara stepped forward, heart pounding, and raised her voice:
>"We'll each take a shard. I'll keep the crimson moon piece, Varkhal, you bind the silver one, and Aurelius, you claim the star-filled fragment. Together we seal the covenant."
Aurelius let out a low, approved rumble. The dragon's claw gently nudged the star-filled shard toward his talon. Varkhal, eyes narrowed, placed his silver shard on the middle pedestal. As the three fragments aligned, a *tremendous surged of energy* erupted, spiraling upward like a vortex of sunrise and midnight.
The ground shook; the abyss began to close. From the vortex, a voice–neither male nor famele, ancient calm whispered:
>"balance is kept. Break the pact, and the moon will devour all."
*Immediate Aftermath*
-*Elshara* felt the crimson moon fragment humming against her chest, its heat now a steady, comforting pulse.
-*Varkhal's silver wound sealed, his horns now tipped with faint constellation, granting him a glimpse of the future.
-*Aurelius* rose, scales shimmering with both gold and midnight, his roar echoing like a promise.
The cavern sealed behind them, leaving the trio standing on a newly form plateau overlooking the kingdom of eldoria, bathed in the soft glow of twin moon rising.
