Harold's POV
With the other men gone and our meal finished, I wanted to convince Phoebe to head back to the villa.
But she clearly wasn't ready to call it a day. "We haven't hit that stronghold to grab them yet! Harold, you can head back without me!"
"Alistair and Malcolm already swept the first two hideouts and came up empty. They should reach the third location any minute now. Let them handle the takedown," I replied.
Phoebe shook her head firmly. "I want to capture them myself."
"Then I'm coming with you," I said, resignation creeping into my voice.
We'd already been ambushed by thugs before reaching our target. Even though things worked out fine, I couldn't bear the thought of Phoebe wandering around out there alone.
Phoebe looked like she wanted to argue that my presence wasn't necessary.
Between her and those three bodyguards' fighting abilities, if they encountered trouble again, it was questionable who'd end up getting the beating.
