Charlies radiated confidence, especially after both Harold and I had given him our encouragement.
Alistair jumped in, adding more fuel to the flame. "Exactly! Not everyone can be as tough as Mr. Bailey and the crew, right? You've got this!"
With all of us supporting him, Charlies headed back to Clearwater University, ready to start shadowing Jeremy that same evening.
As Charlies walked away, Alan's expression turned worried. "Harold, you're really going to let the kid go alone? What happens if he gets caught? Could turn dangerous."
Harold didn't seem fazed. "Don't worry about it. He's a Bailey. Not just at the university—throughout all of Clearwater, nobody dares mess with the Bailey family. Unless someone has a death wish and doesn't mind being run out of the city, they won't touch him."
