Phoebe's POV
He cut himself off abruptly when he spotted me in the office.
I kept my expression neutral, pretending I hadn't caught Brennan's panicked rant.
Harold gestured for Brennan to keep going. "Don't worry about it. Phoebe's part of the team."
He'd already given me access to his personal laptop, after all.
If he trusted me with that, this wouldn't faze him.
Brennan gave a quick nod and continued, "Here's what's happening.
Security just called in—two minutes ago, an unidentified virus breached our internal systems.
The attack's targeting our latest robotics tech in R&D, and Finance got hit too. I've already reached out to Kian."
Kian ran network security for Bailey Group, but he was based in Alverton.
When crises hit, Harold always handled things himself.
Harold was already diving into the system backend before Brennan finished speaking.
