In the corner, Gaia observed the whole scene with an amused grin. She held up a hand to stop Siena from speaking and gave a subtle head shake. The pair even stepped back thoughtfully to provide more room.
Siena looked confused. "Gaia, what's going on?"
Gaia's smile widened as she clarified, "Can't you tell? Federico's got it bad for Patty."
Siena's eyebrows shot up. "Ah, that explains it! But Gaia, doesn't that worry you? If Federico backs Patty for campus queen, you'll have another competitor."
Gaia's eyes gleamed with calculation. If drama erupted, she could stir the pot and find her opening to knock Phoebe out of the running.
Siena had no clue what scheme Gaia was cooking up now, but as long as it targeted Phoebe and caused her grief, she was all for it.
