Leonardo's POV
I arranged for a sightseeing vehicle to take Veronica and Annick around the Nelson grounds, wanting our daughter to get comfortable with her new surroundings as quickly as possible.
The vehicle rolled through the main gates and onto the smooth driveway. I made sure to point out every corner of the estate to Annick, watching her reaction carefully.
Annick's eyes went wide as she took everything in. Compared to her grandmother's modest place, this must have seemed like stepping into some kind of fairytale park.
"Wow! Daddy, your house is amazing! Look at all those fish!"
When we passed the large pond, Annick caught sight of the bright koi darting beneath the water's surface and let out an excited squeal.
"There's more than just fish, princess," I laughed. "Floyd egrets visit here sometimes too."
Right on cue, an elegant white bird glided down and settled gracefully by the water.
"I see it! Right there!"
