Chapter 133 - The Tournament of Multiverse — The Demon King's Unexpected Guests

The Multiverse Demon King sat on his enormous throne, resting his chin on one hand as he stared at the countless galaxies floating before him.

His kingdom stretched beyond the boundaries of ordinary space. Stars, planets, and entire universes revolved around his domain like tiny ornaments.

Beside the throne stood his General, who was waiting for his master's next command.

Demon King: "Central!"

Central immediately appeared before him.

Central: "Yes, Your Majesty!"

Demon King: "Announce it throughout Earth and every galaxy. The Tournament of the Multiverse is going to take place!"

Central's eyes widened.

Central: "The Tournament of the Multiverse? Should I announce the date as well?"

The Demon King leaned back in his throne.

Demon King: "The date? Hahaha! You still don't understand how time works in my realm."

Central: "Pardon?"

Demon King: "One day on Earth could pass like a single minute here. By the time they finish preparing for the tournament, countless years might have passed somewhere else!"

Central looked confused.

Central: "Then how are we supposed to decide the date?"

Demon King: "We don't! Just announce that the tournament is coming. Let the entire multiverse know!"

Central bowed.

Central: "Understood, Your Majesty!"

He disappeared in a flash of light.

The General stepped forward.

General: "Your Majesty, if the tournament is going to involve people from countless universes, shouldn't we invite some special guests?"

The Demon King suddenly sat upright.

Demon King: "Special guests?"

General: "Yes. People whose abilities and personalities would make the tournament truly memorable."

The Demon King slowly smiled.

Demon King: "Hahaha! Now that's an excellent idea! Why wait for them to arrive? I'll summon them myself!"

The General took a step back.

General: "Your Majesty, please be careful. We don't know what kind of beings you might summon."

Demon King: "Don't worry! I'm the Demon King!"

He raised his hand.

A gigantic magic circle appeared above the palace floor. Its glowing symbols expanded until they covered the entire hall.

Demon King: "Come forth! Visitors from another universe!"

A bright flash filled the room.

When the light disappeared, three figures stood before the throne.

A blue-grey cat.

A tiny brown mouse.

And a muscular bulldog with a serious expression.

The Demon King stared at them.

For several seconds, nobody spoke.

Then—

Demon King: "TOM?! JERRY?! SPIKE?!"

Tom looked around the enormous hall, confused.

Jerry stood beside him, his tiny hands resting on his hips.

Spike crossed his arms and looked directly at the Demon King.

Demon King: "HAAAAHAHAHAHA! I DID IT! I ACTUALLY SUMMONED YOU!"

Tom tilted his head.

Tom: "Meow?"

Jerry shrugged.

Spike raised an eyebrow.

Spike: "Hey, big guy. Where exactly are we?"

Demon King: "Welcome to my realm! I am the Multiverse Demon King!"

Tom glanced at Jerry.

Jerry whispered something to him.

Tom nodded.

Tom: "Meow!"

Demon King: "YES! YES! I KNOW! THIS IS AMAZING!"

The General covered his face with one hand.

General: "Your Majesty, I don't think they understand what you're saying."

Demon King: "Who cares?! They're here!"

The Demon King jumped down from his throne and approached Tom.

Demon King: "Tom! I've heard so much about your adventures! The greatest cat-and-mouse rivalry in the multiverse!"

Tom proudly puffed out his chest.

Jerry grinned.

Spike gave Tom a suspicious look.

Demon King: "And you, Jerry! Such a tiny body, yet such an enormous reputation!"

Jerry bowed dramatically.

The Demon King turned toward Spike.

Demon King: "And you, Spike! The guardian of peace, the protector of your little universe!"

Spike smiled slightly.

Spike: "Well, somebody has to keep those two under control."

Tom and Jerry immediately began arguing with each other.

Demon King: "HAAAAHAHAHAHA! Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful!"

The General sighed.

General: "This is already becoming a headache."

Demon King: "Silence! We're only getting started!"

He raised both hands.

Demon King: "Now, let's invite another legendary group!"

Another magic circle appeared.

Demon King: "Come forth, visitors from the world of Oggy!"

A flash of light erupted.

Three cockroaches appeared first.

Joey.

Marky.

Dee.

They looked around the palace, then immediately began laughing mischievously.

Behind them appeared Oggy, looking completely bewildered.

Beside him stood Jack, his muscular green cat friend.

And finally, Bob, the enormous bulldog, appeared with an irritated expression.

Demon King: "OGGY! JACK! BOB! JOEY! MARKY! DEE!"

Oggy looked at the Demon King.

Oggy: "Uh... excuse me? Where are we?"

Jack crossed his arms.

Jack: "Who brought us here? I was in the middle of something important!"

Bob growled.

Bob: "And I was enjoying some peace and quiet!"

The three cockroaches began laughing.

Demon King: "HAAAAHAHAHAHA! EVERYONE IS HERE!"

Oggy slowly looked around the palace.

Oggy: "Wait a minute. Are we in another dimension?"

General: "Technically, yes."

Oggy: "Oh, fantastic. Just what I needed."

Jack looked at the Demon King.

Jack: "You summoned us here. So what do you want?"

The Demon King suddenly rushed toward Jack.

Demon King: "JACK! MY FRIEND! THE WORLD'S PAPA!"

Jack froze.

Jack: "What?"

Demon King: "THE WORLD'S DAD! THE LEGEND! THE STRONGEST CAT FATHER FIGURE IN EXISTENCE!"

Jack looked at Oggy.

Oggy looked at Bob.

Bob shrugged.

Demon King: "LOOK AT THOSE HANDS! LOOK AT THAT TAIL! INCREDIBLE!"

The Demon King circled Jack, examining him with complete admiration.

Demon King: "I've wanted to meet you for so long!"

Jack slowly raised one hand.

Jack: "Okay... I think this guy needs some help."

Oggy burst out laughing.

Oggy: "Hahaha! Jack, congratulations! You've finally found someone who admires you more than you admire yourself!"

Jack glared at Oggy.

Jack: "Keep laughing. Just keep laughing."

The cockroaches climbed onto a nearby pillar and began dancing.

Dee: "This place is huge!"

Marky: "I wonder what happens if we press that button."

Joey: "Let's find out!"

General: "NO! DON'T TOUCH THAT!"

The three cockroaches immediately scattered.

Tom chased Jerry around the palace.

Oggy chased the cockroaches.

Jack shouted at Oggy.

Bob growled at everyone.

Spike tried to maintain order.

And the Demon King stood in the middle of the chaos, laughing like a child who had just received the greatest gift in the universe.

Demon King: "HAAAAHAHAHAHA! THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST TOURNAMENT IN HISTORY!"

The General stared at the ceiling.

General: "I should have stayed in bed."

Far away from the Demon King's realm, beyond the boundaries of ordinary space, a gigantic black hole swallowed the light of distant stars.

Near its edge floated an enormous spaceship.

Inside the ship, the Demon Queen stood in a laboratory surrounded by countless machines.

Her army waited outside.

She stared at a glass chamber filled with glowing liquid.

Demon Queen: "Five years..."

She slowly raised her hand.

Demon Queen: "Five years have passed since my defeat. And now, it's time to begin the next stage."

A mechanical voice sounded.

System: "Genetic samples prepared."

The Demon Queen turned toward the laboratory's central machine.

Inside it were several sealed containers.

One contained her own genetic material.

Another contained the sample she had collected from Leo during the final battle.

There were other samples as well, collected during her previous experiments.

Demon Queen: "Leo..."

She stared at his sample.

Demon Queen: "You defeated me once. You destroyed everything I had built. But this time, I won't make the same mistake."

She placed her hand against the machine.

Demon Queen: "Combine my DNA with his. Begin the experiment."

System: "Warning. The genetic combination is unstable."

Demon Queen: "I don't care. Continue!"

The machine began to vibrate.

A bright light filled the chamber.

The genetic samples were combined through the experimental process. Countless symbols appeared across the screens as the machine began constructing a new life.

The Demon Queen watched without blinking.

Demon Queen: "Come on..."

The chamber's light gradually faded.

Inside the glass container lay a newborn boy.

The baby had soft hair, delicate features, and a face that reminded the Demon Queen of Leo.

She slowly approached the chamber.

For a moment, her expression became unreadable.

Demon Queen: "So... you're finally here."

She placed her palm against the glass.

Demon Queen: "You are the result of my experiment. You carry my genetic inheritance... and Leo's."

The baby opened his eyes.

The Demon Queen smiled.

Demon Queen: "My child."

She paused.

Demon Queen: "No. You will become something far greater than that."

Her smile widened.

Demon Queen: "You will surpass Leo. And one day, you will stand before your father."

She laughed softly.

Demon Queen: "Hahaha... let's see how the strongest World Martial Artist reacts when he meets you."

The laboratory lights dimmed.

The baby continued sleeping peacefully.

And the Demon Queen began preparing for the future.

Back on Earth, the evening sun illuminated the streets of Shanghai.

Inside a restaurant, Leo sat with Lily, Chenwei, Yuna, Airi Kazehana, and their companions.

The table was covered with empty plates and cups.

Leo leaned back in his chair.

Leo: "Ahhh... that was delicious!"

Chenwei: "You say that every time you eat."

Leo: "Because it's true!"

Lily smiled.

Lily: "You really do love food."

Leo: "Of course! Especially momo and chowmein!"

Airi lifted her coffee cup.

Airi: "I still don't understand how this city has so many different kinds of coffee."

Chenwei: "Welcome to modern China."

Airi: "Back in my temple, we had two choices. Black coffee or milk coffee. That was it!"

Everyone laughed.

Leo suddenly sat upright.

Leo: "By the way, I have an announcement."

Chenwei: "What now?"

Leo: "I'm going to organize a party!"

Lily blinked.

Lily: "A party?"

Leo: "Yes! About one month from now. We'll invite everyone!"

Yuna smiled.

Yuna: "That sounds wonderful."

Chenwei: "Wait. Everyone? You mean our entire group?"

Leo: "Exactly! All our friends. The Guardians. The Protectors. Everyone who fought alongside us."

Chenwei nodded.

Chenwei: "Then I'll invite my mother, Mei Lian, and the others."

Leo: "Good! Make sure you invite everyone."

Airi raised her hand.

Airi: "And I'll bring my sisters!"

Leo: "Of course! All five Guardians are invited!"

Airi smiled proudly.

Airi: "Hahaha! This is going to be amazing!"

Lily looked at Leo.

Lily: "What about Leon?"

Leo's expression softened.

Leo: "Our little boy? Of course! He's coming too!"

Lily smiled.

Lily: "He'll be so excited."

Chenwei: "And what about the food?"

Leo's eyes immediately lit up.

Leo: "MOMO!"

Everyone burst into laughter.

Chenwei: "I knew you were going to say that!"

Leo: "We'll have momo, chowmein, everything! No battles, no fighting, no dangerous missions. Just food, music, and celebration!"

Yuna: "That sounds perfect."

Airi: "And I'll perform!"

Chenwei: "Of course you will."

Airi: "I'll prepare a new rap song!"

Leo: "Then I'll challenge you again!"

Airi pointed at him.

Airi: "You'd better be ready, Lion King!"

Leo grinned.

Leo: "Always!"

The group continued laughing.

Outside the restaurant, the streets of Shanghai were filled with lights and the sounds of ordinary people enjoying their evening.

For the first time in a long while, Leo felt as though life was truly peaceful.

No enemies.

No battles.

No desperate struggle to protect the world.

Just his friends, his family, and the promise of a celebration.

He looked at Lily.

Leo: "You know... I really want to see Leon running around at the party."

Lily smiled.

Lily: "Then let's make sure he has the best time."

Leo nodded.

Leo: "Yeah."

Far away, beyond the stars, the Demon King continued laughing in his palace as his newly summoned guests turned his peaceful realm into absolute chaos.

Near the black hole, the Demon Queen watched over her newborn experiment.

And deep beneath the world, in a place where even the light of the stars could not reach, an ancient presence slowly opened its eyes.

The Soul Land had begun to awaken.

The next battle was drawing closer.

But for now, on Earth, Leo and his friends were preparing for a party.

A peaceful celebration before the storm.

**Author's Note:**

Hey, everyone!

I'm really exhausted right now. My internet has run out, and I'm borrowing someone else's hotspot just to write this chapter.

Sometimes it's genuinely difficult to keep

writing when you're tired and struggling with everything around you. I'm sorry if the chapter isn't perfect.

This chapter is mainly a build-up for the upcoming Tournament of the Multiverse and the next major storyline. The tournament's date is still unknown because time works differently in the Demon King's realm.

Thank you for supporting World Martial Art and staying with me throughout this journey.

The chapter/story has ended, but we'll remember it someday from another corner of a new universe.
