In a second they exchanged a dozen blows, and the Twenty-Second was sent flying. Haro wanted to rush after him and not let the enemy recover, but the Seventh, Fourth, and Eighteenth were not going to just watch their brother being killed.
"Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu!" Two brothers growled, combining efforts. The resulting fireball was not very large but had overwhelming temperature and density.
The Eighteenth meanwhile did as his mother taught him and sent his shadows in a roundabout way from the other side to give the enemy no chance.
"Suiton: Suishouha!" Haro growled, lightning-fast forming several seals. A huge amount of water literally appeared out of nowhere under his feet, which completely surrounded him, creating a five-meter water curtain.
A small water column formed from the huge mass of water and stretched towards the fireball. The five-meter fireball hissed into the mass of water and began to evaporate it. However, Haro fully controlled all the surrounding water and suppressed the enemy technique without any problems.
"Kage Nui no Jutsu!" The Eighteenth said coldly, and five thin shadow strips burst out from under Haro, aiming at his legs.
With an effort of will he managed to suppress three shadow needles, destroying them under the mass of water, but his concentration was not enough for more. Two shadow needles entered his foot, with difficulty but piercing the extremely strong flesh of the Jonin.
Haro only clenched his teeth tighter and lightning-fast jumped away from the shadow needles that dug into his flesh. The wound received was not dangerous but slightly affected his speed, making it impossible to use all his strength.
"Katon: Ryuen Hoka no Jutsu!" The recovered and arrived Ichiro growled.
Several dozen small fireballs in the shape of dragon heads flew towards Kobayashi Haro. Having survived many battles in his life, Haro was not at all afraid of this technique and with the help of water under his control created a water curtain from the side of the flying fireballs.
However, at the last moment when there were about twenty meters left to Haro, the fireballs began to disappear one by one and appear in completely unexpected places for the Jonin.
He did not have time to react, so he could only create a thin membrane of water around his entire body. He parried some of the fireballs without any problems with his hands which were surrounded by a thick layer of water, dodged some on pure instincts, but still about ten fireballs hit him in the back, head, and legs.
A thin five-centimeter water membrane was not enough to absorb all the heat from the simultaneously exploding fireballs, and Haro received the strongest burns all over his body. The Jonin's flesh was very resistant to temperature, but even so all his clothes were burned in an instant, part of the skin charred and burst, the left eye which was so unsuccessfully close to the epicenter of the fireball explosion completely baked and stopped seeing.
Kobayashi Haro himself experienced a huge pain shock and stopped controlling himself, taking several breaths, receiving a strong burn to his lungs. His wild scream was heard for several kilometers, but unfortunately for his opponents, Haro was a very strong Jonin, and his vitality was at a completely transcendental level.
Kenshin knew that after such an enraged Jonin would be much more dangerous, so he forbade the other sons to approach the wounded enemy and, being high in the air, decided to attack himself.
He took a deep breath, concentrated 90% of the remaining psionics, poured part of it into his own body with gigantic losses, and used part as the strongest impulse, literally shooting downward like a rocket. His speed at that moment exceeded the speed of a bullet fired from a pistol, and even x150 focus barely allowed him to act at such speeds.
Kenshin instantly appeared next to Haro and aimed to pierce his head with an accurate blow. However, even the wounded Jonin was not so simple and felt enormous danger. At the last moment he managed to dodge a little, and Kenshin's sword with monstrous force crashed into his right shoulder, cutting off his right arm along with part of the collarbone.
Simultaneously with dodging, Haro poured almost all his chakra into the "water fang" technique and managed to do this before falling to the ground from pain shock due to the severed arm.
As soon as Kenshin completed his blow, he was hit from the side by a "fang" of compressed water weighing ten tons with small dimensions. However, for Kenshin this was more than enough.
The invisible barrier instantly collapsed, and Kenshin barely had time to cover his face with his hands as he flew like a bullet in an unknown direction. With his small body mass, Kenshin felt only part of the directed impulse, like a small leaf in the air that was punched.
Ichiro instantly rushed after his father, teleporting the enemy's severed arm to himself, and ordered his squad to use long-range techniques to destroy the disoriented enemy.
"Katon: Goka Mekkaku!" The Seventh and Fourth shouted.
"Fuuton: Toppa!" The Twenty-Second supported them.
As soon as their techniques combined into a thirty-meter wall of flame and covered Haro with itself, the Eighteenth formed seals and added something of his own: "Suiton: Suidanha!"
A stream of water under high pressure instantly burst from his mouth, only slightly weaker than Haro's himself at the beginning of the battle, and the Eighteenth, like a laser, cut the entire area where the enemy was located lengthwise and crosswise.
And although the enhanced Katon technique did not allow Suiton to run wild to its full extent, the directed stream was extremely dense and easily made a small breach in the ocean of flame.
"Father, are you okay?" Ichiro asked with concern the Kenshin who flew a hundred meters away.
"This scum cleverly sent us, father and son, flying with his filthy techniques!" Kenshin declared with laughter, rising to his feet. He immediately scanned the entire area and clearly saw a smoldering humanoid figure under the ocean of flame.
"Excellent work." He praised all his sons with a smile, and after the flame died out, carefully pulled out a layer of earth along with the charred body lying on it. It was burned almost to ash, and after some examination they concluded that Haro was dead.
"Phew, what a scum… For some reason it seemed to me that we would deal with an ordinary Jonin in no time…" Kenshin muttered with a sigh and removed his mask. His entire face was smeared with blood, and his nose was badly mangled and sunken inward.
"Father, you're hurt!" The Twenty-Second exclaimed in shock and rushed to him at full speed, then activated "mystical palm" and began to examine the nature of the damage.
"Just a broken nose, it's nothing." Kenshin answered. In his past life he had already experienced this nasty crunch when the nose collapses inward, but many years had passed since then, and this time he was no longer a twelve-year-old child and was not going to fall to the ground from pain.
"Ahem, yes, nose fracture. I'll fix everything now, don't move." The Twenty-Second said, gaining confidence in himself. When treating patients he was filled with unshakable confidence and without hesitation told his father what to do.
Completely shocked, the other brothers could only silently watch as the Twenty-Second grabbed his father by the nose and sharply pulled. A distinct crunch was heard, and then Kenshin had to spit blood for about a minute. In literally five minutes, the Twenty-Second used mystical palm to treat Kenshin's wound, and the only thing indicating the former fracture was slight inflammation and bruises beginning to appear under the eye.
"Thank you, now examine Ichiro. He got hit hard by that stream. Fourth, cut off the wrist from this arm and put it in a bag so we can show it as proof of the completed work." Kenshin ordered, and everyone began to follow his instructions.
The Twenty-Second discovered a huge bruise on Ichiro's entire chest, four cracked and two broken ribs. In ten minutes he fastened them together so that Ichiro could return home without any problems.
The Fourth could not cut through the incredibly strong bone of the defeated Jonin the first time but still managed and wrapped it in a small airtight bag. A body part of the target was excellent for confirming the completed mission. Things the target had worn for more than a month and at least a week before their death were also suitable for this.
All this concerned only those whose chakra prints were known to Konoha. Entering a chakra print into the archive was not difficult, often one group of Konoha shinobi who encountered the target and managed to return to the village was enough for this.
