Sisi chuckled and slowly lay on the makeshift bed made out of straws and a bedsheet made out of big leaves. She was still holding Jojo in her arm, silently lulling him to make sure that Jojo would have a good dream tonight, since he had endured days sleeping with only his father.
Kael lay carefully right behind her, spooning both Jojo and Sisi in his big embrace, inhaling the scent coming from Sisi's nape.
He truly missed this moment, and it turned into longing, because he spent most of his days staring at the waterfall, waiting for his wife to come out and spend more time with her family.
