In a certain underground base in Saffron City.
The two men in suits who had previously visited the Saffron Gym had taken off their outer wear, revealing black uniforms underneath. On the front of the uniform was a red "R."
They passed through one security gate after another and arrived at the central control room, where they respectfully saluted a man with short blue hair wearing a silver uniform.
"Archer-sama!"
"Yes, what did Sabrina say?" the man called "Archer" asked, his legs crossed, a gentle smile playing on his face.
"She still refused, this time demanding greater freedom and autonomy from us."
"Sabrina keeps putting us off. Should we make her regret it?"
Archer narrowed his eyes. The gentle smile remained, yet the two Team Rocket Grunts below instantly froze with fear.
"There's no need. She has softened up and will join us soon enough. You two don't need to bother with her anymore. I will go personally soon and see if the legendary Psychic beauty is worthy of her reputation."
"Yes!"
"You two will join the action squad at Silph Co. and take orders from the squad leader there."
"Yes!"
Seeing Archer turn to look at the large screen in front of him, the two Team Rocket Grunts exchanged a glance and quietly withdrew.
Walking a good distance away, both men breathed a sigh of relief.
"Although Archer-sama seems kind, I can't help but feel a sense of awe in his presence."
"That's the presence of a leader. There was a time I saw Ariana-sama from a distance, and I felt an urge to kneel."
"I wonder what kind of demeanor Giovanni-sama has?"
After indulging in their thoughts, the two returned to reality.
"Let's not talk about that. Let's think about the mission at Silph Co."
"Didn't we hear that we have full control over the Silph Co. headquarters building already? All that's left is to guard it carefully, right?"
"That would be good. It seems like the difficulty is low. Earlier, when we were talking to Sabrina, I was so afraid she would turn hostile and turn us into dolls."
"Ha, you coward. I wasn't scared at all. I was actually looking forward to her turning me into a doll and ruthlessly dominating me."
"Hiss, your thoughts are quite dangerous..."
The two Team Rocket Grunts chatted as they walked back the way they came, failing to notice that the shadow behind them suddenly moved and seeped into the adjacent wall.
The shadow traveled around the base and returned to the surface, merging into the shadow of a handsome man.
This handsome man was, naturally, Aomori.
When Aomori encountered the two men in Sabrina's office, he had vaguely guessed their identities and sent Darkrai to tail them.
After bidding farewell to Sabrina, he faked his departure but secretly changed his clothes, put on his Disguise Glasses, and returned to Saffron City.
Using his connection with Darkrai, he arrived near the Silph Co. headquarters building and casually found a cafe. He placed his Laptop on the table, disguising himself as a struggling novelist collecting material for a story.
After politely declining the advances of the 31st young woman, Aomori finally received Darkrai's report.
"Team Rocket has completely taken control of Silph Co., huh." Aomori took a sip of his bitter black coffee and gazed out the window at the tall building.
Silph Co. is a leader in the Pokémon world's manufacturing industry. It pioneered the fundamental technology for the current Poké Ball and has continuously expanded and innovated upon it, creating dozens of types of Poké Balls, including the Dive Ball, Nest Ball, Luxury Ball, Great Ball, and Ultra Ball, making it the premier major corporation in the Kanto region.
It was no surprise that such a major company had been quietly occupied by Team Rocket, especially since the Team Rocket base was located beneath Silph Co., with entrances and exits inside the building.
"It must be for the Master Ball," Aomori rummaged through his memories of his past life, knowing that Giovanni had always wanted to capture Legendary Pokémon. Therefore, the Master Ball, which guarantees the capture of any wild Pokémon, would naturally be a target for Team Rocket.
The question now was whether the Master Ball had been successfully developed yet.
If the Master Ball had not yet been manufactured, the value of the spoils Aomori would gain from executing justice against Team Rocket now would be greatly reduced.
After much deliberation, Aomori laughed self-mockingly. "Why overthink it? When I return next time, I might be able to take on a Legendary Pokémon head-on. I won't even need a Master Ball."
The important thing is the present. This Team Rocket base must have many captured Pokémon, he thought.
Having decided to Execute Justice, Aomori first asked Akihiko, "Can you take over their network system?"
"Hmm, the firewall there is quite robust. It would take 10 hours for complete control."
"What about just causing damage?"
"Only ten minutes. I can completely paralyze their security system. How long it takes to repair depends on the skill of their technicians, but it will definitely be no less than 5 minutes."
"5 minutes is enough. Give me the three-dimensional map of the place."
The three-dimensional holographic map of the Team Rocket base immediately appeared on the computer screen, clearly showing the layout inside.
Aomori carefully memorized the route and quickly formulated an action plan.
Putting away his Laptop, he got up and left the cafe. He found a hotel near the Silph Co. headquarters building and checked in, using a fake identity he created with Akihiko's help, not the one provided by Sabrina.
In the hotel room, Aomori connected the Laptop to the internet, allowing Akihiko to contact him via a Bluetooth headset, and he left Absol to guard the computer.
Once night had fully fallen, he changed into a set of black clothes, avoided the surveillance cameras, and quietly infiltrated the Silph Co. headquarters building.
"Go to the second floor, the restroom at the ten o'clock direction. There's a lone Team Rocket grunt. Don't worry about the surveillance cameras." Akihiko's voice came through the headset, and Aomori gave an almost imperceptible nod.
Using a speed that was barely visible to the naked eye, he easily avoided the sight of passersby, knocked the Team Rocket grunt unconscious, tied his hands and feet securely, stripped him naked, and threw him in the restroom.
Aomori then put on the black Team Rocket uniform and a beret. After setting his Disguise Glasses to non-display, he followed Akihiko's instructions to find the secret elevator leading down to the Team Rocket base.
Coincidentally, while waiting for the elevator, another Team Rocket grunt appeared in his line of sight.
The man had his cap pulled low, making his appearance difficult to discern. He also seemed surprised to see Aomori here. After a noticeable pause, he slowly walked toward the elevator.
Aomori's mind raced. With his striking looks, he definitely couldn't pass as a rookie Grunt unnoticed. He would have to subdue the man by surprise and see if his half-baked Hypnosis could work.
