Chapter 3 - The strongest X-rank hunter

As we headed towards the city, I was incredibly surprised. It was a terrifyingly safe route—no monsters, no bandits. And I'm not lying; monsters have the ability to sense danger, so they'll never come near me. Because I possess inner dragon cells, no monster, no matter how powerful, would dare approach. "Strange, there aren't any bandits," he thought, as she looked out the car window, the wind playing with her hair. "We're near the city of Barhis. It's a city free of bandits, but that doesn't mean it isn't full of thieves, slave traders, and others. So we have to be very careful."

Upon arriving in Barhis, I found it like a fortress, with walls tens of meters high. I returned the car to its previous world, and we began exploring the city. "Sister, we'll look for a house to rent, okay?" My gaze fell on the system screen. "Search for a house to rent."

[Your wish is my command, O Creator. Searching...]

[Search complete... There's a large house 5 meters away, and its owner is trustworthy.]

After walking for a while, we found a house. It was a large house. From four floors, a glance at a well-dressed person. "You own this house?" A beautiful smile spread across his face. He spoke calmly, having deduced from our elegant appearance that we were wealthy. "Yes, I own this house." After hearing his words, I got to the point. "I'd like to rent it for two weeks." He clasped his hands together with a small smile. "Very well, sir. The amount will be five gold coins." I immediately handed him the money, and he took it with lightning speed. "Show me the house." After putting the money in his pocket with remarkable agility, he pointed forward towards a house. "Very well, sir, as you wish... It's a house with four bedrooms, a guest room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a beautiful backyard." After a tour that lasted two full hours, I said, "Okay, goodbye." I took Sera to her room. "Sera, this is your room." I took her bag from the back room, then went to a room opposite. I put my things in their designated places and sat on the bed, tired from driving. I fell asleep immediately. At dinner, we were at the table. Sera was talking while she ate. "Beautiful house, brother, but there are two children watching us since we entered." I put a piece of meat in my mouth like a nobleman, you know the mentality of someone with a genuine body. I looked at it with a look of "nothing to worry about." "Okay, don't be afraid." I snapped my fingers to find two children in front of me. Anyone who saw them would think they were 13 years old. "Why are you watching us?

Speak now!" The two shocked children were behind a cupboard and at a dinner table in front of a new customer. "How did we get here? Who are you?" I looked at them sharply. "I asked you first why you are watching us and what your names are." They answered me with great nervousness evident on their faces. "I am Kira and this is my sister, Lyra. We have been trapped in this house for many years. We couldn't find a way to break the curse, so we started watching anyone who came hoping to help us." I ate my food as if what they were saying was trivial. "Okay." I snapped my fingers, and a faint purple light appeared from their bodies, then quickly shattered. "You are finished. You destroyed the curse.

It's a weak curse," I said, while I sipped from the glass of orange juice beside me. Kira's brain cells were about to explode. "How can you say 'weak'? He broke the curse of Circle 9!" I wiped my mouth with a tissue. I don't like oily residue on my mouth. My expression was indifferent to whether to believe me or not. "You can try something. If the curse destroys it, then so be it." As soon as I finished speaking, they headed towards the door. The signs of worry were clear on their faces, but they managed to get out of the house. They were so happy they jumped for joy. Lyra started crying with happiness. "You two, do you know that if it weren't for the curse, you would have been dead a long time ago?

A long time ago! You didn't live for years, but 2000 years because the curse protected you and the house... But don't worry, the side effects of this curse are still with you so that you don't die and we can stay with you, with your corpses." Lyra and Kira were astonished by what they heard, but then gratitude appeared on their faces. "Thank you for helping us... Please, let us stay with you." A look that said, "Are you both at your full strength?" The mindset was "It's impossible," but they found a weakness in me. "Please let them stay with us," I said, my innocent face beaming. "Okay, I agree. They can stay with us." "Hey, thanks, Seri!" they said to Seri, jumping for joy like lunatics.

The next day, in the city market, which was full of guards, there were 15 guards. "Seri, Kira, and Lyra, here's yours.

5 gold coins. Go and buy whatever you want." They left me immediately afterward, walking off cheerfully. I was confused about where to go. "Well, what should I do... I'll join the Hunters' Guild." As I was wandering around, I came across a shop with the sign:

"Hunters' Guild of Berheis City."

I went inside, and everyone stared at me as if I had murdered their wives or children. "Why is everyone looking at me like that?" I went to the reception area and spoke politely to a host. "Miss," she said. She looked at me with a smile. Beautiful, with her hands on a table in the shape of fists, she said, "What do you want, sir?" with a beautiful smile. I placed my hands on the table as well. "I want to become a hunter."

"Very well," she said, taking out a document so I could legally join a guild. "Write your information on this paper." I took a sheet and began writing my personal information and abilities. After a while, she brought out a rank test ball. "Okay, let's see your current rank. Don't be upset if it's weak; I'm still at the beginning... Put mana into this ball." I placed my hand on the ball. "Okay, as you wish." After I put mana inside, the ball exploded. Everyone was shocked. "This is impossible! Fine, we'll give you an S-rank test ball," she said in great shock. After they brought out one for the S-rank, it exploded too. She was nervous; she hadn't witnessed such an incident in years. "Okay, sir, don't worry.

We'll give you an SSS rank test ball directly," she said with a mocking laugh at the situation. "Okay, no problem. Take your time." And the others sat there, still in shock. How is this possible? He destroyed an S-level measuring ball! "Other people..." How is this possible? He started measuring an SSS-level ball! As soon as he put mana on the ball, it exploded. She was about to fall, but a chair stopped her. "What... this has never happened before! This also means he's X-level. This is a special category for hunters.

Talented with immense power, but how is this possible? It means one thing: he's an X-level legend." After regaining her composure, she said, "Very well, sir. You will receive 30 million gold coins. And thank you, sir, for visiting our headquarters."

I thanked her, a little embarrassed, and she replied with a beautiful smile, "It's okay, you can call me Mary." "Okay, Mary, thank you for helping me join the Hunters' Guild. Goodbye." At the door, I received a telepathic call. It was Sirius. Her voice was trembling, which worried me. "Sirius, what's wrong? Why do you sound scared?" She replied fearfully, "We've been kidnapped." A devastating pressure wave sent everyone sprawling to the ground, blood on their faces. "What is this? So much pressure I can't even move!" Outside, everyone was lying on the ground, just like inside the guild. "What's happening? How can someone possess so much power? This is an aura pressure that everyone in the city can feel. Who dared to anger this person?" But it didn't last long, only a minute.

Then Sirius spoke with exaggerated confidence, "My brother will come and help us, you understand, you bastard?" He replied arrogantly, "Listen, I don't care who your brother is. I'll kill him, take all your money, and sell you into slavery." Then he left with a smile. After he left, a child the same age as her asked her name. His appearance suggested he came from a prestigious family. "What's your name?" "My name is Sera, and you?" "My name is Leon. Who's the brother you were talking about?" She spoke with a beautiful smile. "His name is Yuta, and he'll come to help me any minute." He breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good. What is this?" After a few moments, he launched himself.

A great pressure and murderous intent. "I can move my body with its power," both Leon and Sera's kidnapper said with beautiful smiles. "It belongs to my brother," Leon replied, blood dripping from his mouth. "Why are you so sure?" She pointed a finger at him. "Because it doesn't affect me." His eyes were wide open. "How is that possible?" Sera snapped him out of his thoughts. "My brother is nearby." An explosion.

BOOM! "Who are you?" she spoke with undisguised mockery. "I'm Yuta, and you're the one who kidnapped my sister, right?" A sly smile appeared on his face. "Yes, and what are you going to do?" He severed his head before he could even realize it. His head was severed from his body. Fear was etched on Leon's face, and a cold sweat trickled down his back. "How did he cut off his head while he was so far away?" I turned to Ciri anxiously. He looked at me. "Is this your brother?" "Yes, Leon, he's my older brother." "He killed them with one blow. How do you have so much strength?" I ignored his question and continued towards Ciri, loosening a small rope from her body.

"Ciri, how were you kidnapped? And where are Kira and Lyra?" She looked at me, a little embarrassed. "I got separated from them, and while I was searching for them, I encountered these thieves and ended up here." I turned to him. "And you, Leon, speak up. What is the son of a city's king doing here?" He was astonished that I recognized him so quickly. "How did you know who I am?" "That's none of your business. What's important is why no one has come to rescue you yet." As I finished speaking, 34 soldiers in black armor entered. Their leader spoke. "You surrender." I looked at them indifferently. "Here they come. You take your prince and leave... and we will leave as well." Leon stopped me while I was holding my baby in my arms. I looked at him, a look that said, "What do you want?" "Why don't you come with me? My father will reward you handsomely." "Okay," I said, after hearing about the reward. "Fine, we'll come with you." After a while, they arrived at the king's court in the city of Barhis. It was a hall decorated with exquisite beauty and meticulous detail. "Why didn't you kneel before His Majesty?" said Victor, the head of the guard, arrogantly and domineeringly. He gave him a sharp look that silenced him. "I will not kneel before anyone. Do you understand that, Commander of the Guard, Victor Morase?" The king looked at him, silencing him. He spoke in a calm, friendly tone, "It's alright. Let him do as he pleases this time." He turned his gaze towards me. "Who are you, young man?" I spoke in a calm and direct tone. "My name is Yuta." Another question came from him, as if we were in an interrogation. "Are you a hunter, Yuta?" "Yes, I am an X-rank hunter." Everyone was shocked. "How can a boy who hasn't even turned 16 be an X-rank hunter?" I put my hand in an inside pocket of my jacket to take out my card. "My Hunters," I said. "If you don't believe me, take this. It's my Hunter Card." They began to examine it very carefully to see if it was fake or not. After an hour of inspection, the king spoke. "He really doesn't lie... Take your Hunter Card. Will you be staying here?" I took my Hunter Card and put it back in its place. "Yes, we'll stay for two weeks. We arrived two days ago." He sighed, a little sadly. "Okay, choose the gift you want." I thought for a moment about a dungeon poster. "I want permission to clear the gate of the so-called Graveyard."

The rulers replied with some doubt, "Are you sure, Yuta? Even those of XXX++ rank couldn't clear it, but I'll allow you to try." I spoke respectfully. "Thank you, Your Majesty. I'm going to a meeting." Sira, who was holding my hand as we stood in the palace courtyard, asked, "Are you serious about going?" I looked at him with a small smile. "Yes, I'm going. I heard the reward for clearing it is 2 million platinum coins, so I must get that reward. I'll take you to a house, and then I'll go." To eliminate them.

After five hours at the entrance of the gate, which was black, I asked, "What is the number of monsters in the gate and their ranks?"

A system screen appeared with the following text:

"Number of monsters: 500 million Holy Ruler-rank monsters, 9 XXX++-rank monsters, and the rest of XXX+, XXX, XX, or X-rank monsters."

"I understand why I couldn't eliminate them." I entered. It was a barren, lifeless land where the strong preyed on the weak. "Ahem, monsters, whoever wants to become one of my followers will live to see the light of day for another day, and whoever refuses will die. Do you understand?" I unleashed my aura and my killing intent, shaking the entire dungeon.

After a short while, a group of monsters appeared, numbering 47 million, including 9 monsters who knew the extent of my power. With a confident smile, I said, "Well, that's not an insignificant number." I made contracts with them. "There are 2 million monsters left, including the dungeon leader, the Ruler of Doom. If I kill her, I will obtain..." On the sword of the Lords of Destruction, I looked at the monsters and said, "Enter my spiritual world." After they all entered, my spiritual world, which was larger than hundreds of imaginary worlds, infinite in size, was a society, and at the same time beautiful. Trees, forests, valleys, and rivers—it was an indescribable paradise.

"Well, it's time to clear the dungeon, the graveyard of rulers... Monsters, come and fight me!" All the remaining monsters charged with fury. "They came by force, ha ha ha!"

Giant meteors the size of houses fell from the sky in droves. "What? How did all these meteors fall at once? And how and where did they come from?" These were the last words they would say. He looked at them with a devilish smile.

"Bye-bye!" Meteors shattered the monsters into pieces.

A few seconds later, a message appeared from the system. I looked at it in surprise. "What does it say?"

"Do you want to use the Devouring Power?"

A sly smile appeared on my face. "Yes, use it, but give power to the monsters you contracted with."

"Yes, my lord."

Inside the spirit world, monsters felt a great power enter their carpets in a miniature world. "What is this power? It's from my lord. Thank you for this gift."

And the dungeon boss, my gaze was directed towards him. She was sitting on his throne, looking at me. "You're the dungeon boss? Wait, why a girl's dungeon boss... Well, let's go back to the first question. Are you the dungeon boss?" She rushed towards me and knelt at my feet in fear. "I'm not the dungeon boss. I'm just a servant who wanted to experience sitting on a throne." Her lie was as clear as day. "You're lying. You're the dungeon boss, the ruler of doom, Athena." Tears began to fall from her Her eyes pleaded, "Please don't kill me." He removed the Life Lords' sword from her neck. "Alright, let me think... Alright, I won't kill you, but you'll come with me to take care of my little sister, Sera." She stood up, overjoyed at her escape. "Okay, do you agree?" "Yes, I agree, but the only way is by killing me to clear the gate." He looked at her, his expression saying, "Do you want to die or not? I don't understand yet." "Don't worry, there's another way: destroying the Dungeon's Essence, which is located in the throne." He destroyed it, and the dungeon began to shake terrifyingly. "And we have to run now!"

Halfway through, he remembered he had teleportation. As they ran, he shouted loudly, "Hold my shoulder! I'm going to teleport, Anya!" There was some hesitation on her face. "But did you bring the Sword of the Lords of Destruction?" He glanced at her for a moment before looking back. "Of course, I came here in the first place for it." They teleported directly outside the gate of the Rulers' Graveyard dungeon to find a large number of people, some of whom... Hunters, the king and his son were there too. It was a crowded place with people of all ages, genders, and races. "Why is everyone standing at the gate?" Everyone was shocked that the gate had disappeared behind me. They started shouting loudly, "The gate was destroyed!" My gaze shifted back to the previous gate location. "Really? Yes, as you can see... Your Majesty, I heard that the reward for clearing the Graveyard of Rulers dungeon is 2 million platinum coins. Is that true?"

"Yes, Yuta, the kingdom placed that reward."

A slight smile appeared on his face. "Yes, that's a reward for whoever clears it, and you cleared it in less than 3 hours. You've truly accomplished something great." I thought to myself, "Three hours left because I was wandering around the dungeon for 2 hours and 50 minutes and fighting monsters for an hour and ten minutes without really engaging in combat." I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at him. "Okay, when will I get the reward for clearing the Graveyard of Rulers dungeon?" He walked lightly towards his vehicle. "You'll get it when we arrive at..." "A palace," I followed without going beyond it, Athena and I. "Very well, as you wish, Duke." We boarded a carriage the size of a bus, adorned with beautiful gold engravings and filled with comforts for a long journey. After three hours, the Duke's deputy spoke calmly and respectfully as he handed me a large box filled with platinum coins.

[One platinum coin is worth 10,000 gold coins, one gold coin is worth 1,000 silver coins, and one silver coin is worth 100 copper coins.]

"Here is your reward, Yuta: a box of platinum coins. And here is a badge. Use it when you need it to access hard-to-reach places and for other purposes, such as entering restricted areas." I took them and placed them in the dimensional space. "Thank you for these gifts. I hope we remain on good terms."
