Chapter 41 - Spoiler! Spoiler! Spoiler!

Spoiler! Spoiler! Spoiler!

Hello everyone, this is an extra chapter where I'll elaborate a bit more on the system and also ask you a few questions.

So, you already know that the system has ranks and realms, but let me restate them here.

1st realm: ranks 1 to 6

2nd realm: ranks 7 to 10

3rd realm: ranks 11 to 14

4th realm: rank 15

5th realm: rank 16 (peak GodRune and the Realm of Fate)

6th realm: rank 17 (I'll explain later, but that power is an absolute nightmare)

7th realm: rank 18 (absolute peak)

Without the system, rank 17 is the absolute peak. No one could ever reach rank 18 except Lucius.

x4 between ranks

x20 between realms up to rank 14

x100 between ranks 14 and 15

x270 between 15 and 16

x1000 between 16 and 17

x way too much to bother writing for rank 18

But, as I already mentioned in one of the chapters, the actual strength of these ranks varies greatly, because starting from rank 1, power is constantly multiplied. Because of that, you can classify the white core of a human, dwarf, or elf as rank 6, while the integration stage would count as rank 7. However, this raises a question: why exactly is that the case, when it is obvious that someone like Varay at the integration stage would destroy the first layer of an aether core without much difficulty?

The answer lies in the qualitative and potential superiority of aether over mana. The integration stage can naturally be strengthened only up to rank 9 at most, meaning to the level of high asuras like Aldir and the leaders of the Great Eight. Meanwhile, a rank 7 aether core, meaning the first layer, can be developed up to rank 10, meaning the fourth layer, after which it can make the leap to the integration stage already at rank 11. And this can continue all the way up to rank 17.

Since aether is qualitatively superior to mana, in this fanfic I made it so that mana is merely a heavily diluted and weakened form of aether.

Now that we've settled that, let's talk about the power levels.

1 - non-mage

2 - newly awakened mage

3 - knows how to control mana

4 - good mage

5 - one of the best

6 - the best among the lesser races

7 - integration, Scythes

8 - asuras like Windsom

9 - asuras like the leaders of the Great Eight and elite fighters like Aldir

10 - ancient asuras, the level of Kezess and the 4th layer of the aether core

From ranks 11 to 14 come the GodRunes, who are rank 15. Those GodRunes then evolve into something else entirely, and so on.

Now, the value of the ranks will be measured in power points.

1 - 5

2 - 20

3 - 80

4 - 320

5 - 1.28 thousand

6 - 5.12 thousand

7 - 102.4 thousand

8 - 409.6 thousand

9 - 1.64 million

10 - 6.55 million

11 - 131.07 million

12 - 524.29 million

13 - 2.10 billion

14 - 8.39 billion

15 - 838.86 billion

16 - 226.49 trillion

17 - 226.49 quadrillion

Now that that's out of the way, let's talk about what kind of energy system I should choose for the world that will grow from the World Seed.

In the upcoming chapters, the World Seed will sprout and create a world inside the core, and I'd like to ask what kind of power system would fit best there. In short, this can be set up so that Lucius himself will be able to choose the foundation of the energy system for his world.

At first, I was thinking of creating something like the Gu system from Reverend Insanity, but without the need to feed them and in a more limited form. But then it occurred to me that the magic system from Frieren is also very appealing, because magic there works on the principle of: imagination + mana + knowledge = magic. That concept would also be easy to refine by adding mana cores, for example, like in TBATE. This could work especially well if some of the asuras want to settle in Lucius's world after Epheotus changes drastically.

Or I could just mix all of those systems together. For example, make it so that beings have mana cores that generate mana, while magic itself is born from imagination and knowledge, and rare, limited Gu are scattered throughout the world. For example: Hard Bone Gu, Night Vision Gu, Animal Communication Gu, Appraisal Gu, Plant Gu, Underwater Breathing Gu, and so on.

I'd like to hear your suggestions.

There's also one more question: who do you consider the most talented character who starts out fairly weak, from manga, anime, light novels, manhua, and similar media? Anything except films, TV series, and comics.

I've got a small idea for my next fanfic. For now it's just an idea, and I'm not planning to write it yet. The basic premise is reincarnating as an Asura with a certain system. And by the way, if I do decide to write it, it will be 100% harem. But the system itself will be much more limited, and in order to become someone on the level of the Asura lords, you'd have to train for more than thirty years, rather than just hand a couple of items to a few weaklings and instantly become the strongest.

So, for this system to work properly, I need someone extremely talented, but at the same time still fairly weak by asura standards. I would choose someone like Tserriednich Hui Guo Rou: his talent is basically one in a billion, maybe even one in ten billion. But since he has only just begun to develop, his strength is still relatively low, and that is exactly what I need for the fanfic. Is there anyone else of roughly the same type?

Oh, right, one more thing: today there will also be a chapter of almost 7,000 words, so get ready.
