Looking at the angry Xiao Fan, Cloud became worry.
People tend to make mistakes when they fight in anger. Fighting the big boar in such a condition could cost him his life.
Cloud is the one who brought Xiao Fan here so he have some responsibility. If something happens to Xiao Fan, he wouldn't be able to withstand the repercussions from his brother and master.
Meanwhile, Fang Yue only frown at Xiao Fan.
This guy has lost control and was beaten because of it once before and he's going to do it again? Unbelievable! Is what she thought.
Just as the two is preparing to join the battle so that Xiao Fan doesn't die because of recklessness, a surprising turn of events happens in front of them.

Cloud, Fang Yue, and even the big boar was expecting Xiao Fan to come after the big boar in rage.
But contrary to their expectations, Xiao Fan came after the small one instead.
Which means his earlier show of rage seems to be an act.
And that act pays off in the form of the small boar's death.
Now that all of the smaller ones have died, the three can focus on the big boar.
After killing the small boar, Xiao Fan retreat near the two right away.
"You guys were surprised weren't you?" Xiao Fan said teasingly to the two.
"I am indeed. Good work." Cloud said while giving him a thumbs up.
Xiao Fan smiles when he sees this. He doesn't know what's the meaning of the thumbs up.
But from Cloud's praise, he can understand that it should be something that's good.
Fang Yue on the other hand just turn her head away, ignoring Xiao Fan. I guess he's not that stupid after all. Is what she thought in her mind.
But she didn't say it out loud. She knows that this guy would have a big head if he's complimented.
So she doesn't want to give him the satisfaction.
After the small interaction, the big boar finally reacts. It roar furiously then charge immediately toward the three.
Seeing that the enemy is coming, the three finally reacts.
Xiao Fan dodge to the left while Fang Yue dodge to the right.
Cloud is not moving just yet. He prepares himself to jump over the charging boar.
This boar is very big. Its height is about three meters. But Cloud who have a strong physical strength, coupled with his qi gathering second stage cultivation, jumping over it is something that he can do.
Cultivators at this level is basically not in the range of a normal human being anymore, after all.
How can they compare to someone like Cloud who hunt wild beasts by himself as a day job.

Fang Yue attack with her whip from a mid range while Xiao Fan closed in and slashes his sword to its sides a few times.
The two were shocked when they see the results of their attacks.
Fang Yue's whip doesn't even leave any mark while Xiao Fan's slashes only leave a white mark exactly like a mark that appears after someone scratching their skin.
The boar ignore their attacks and keep charging. It probably doesn't feel the attacks at all.
When it is close enough, Cloud time the distance and jump when he think it's the right time.
The boar react to Cloud's movement and it moves it's head to try to hit Cloud that's in the air.
Cloud is jumping pretty close to it so it's head can indeed hit him.
