After seeing the gathering of boars, the two quickly withdraw their heads.
Spirit Beasts are quite clever so if they see them, they would definitely come after them right away.
Fang Yue however is surprised at what she saw that she didn't withdraw her head right away.
Seeing that, the two quickly pull her away from the wall corner.
"What happened?" Cloud ask quietly.
Only then di Fang Yue finally respond.
She think for a moment than explain quietly: "A way out. You guys should see for yourselves."
The two is surprised when they hear that. What does she mean a way out?
But then they peek to see for themselves.
When the two look, they are also surprised.
But they already hear from Fang Yue so they already have some expectation. That's why even though they are surprised, they still react quickly and withdraw right away unlike Fang Yue.
The three then move away from the intersection.
Once they feel they're far enough, they start talking about what they see.
Actually, they didn't directly see the outside.
On the way to the left, there is a path there that have some plants and vegetation.
To Fang Yue, this indicates that it must be connected to the outside.
Because even here, there are rarely any plants that can grow without sunlight.
Cloud and Xiao Fan who also understand common sense think the same.
That path to the left must be another way out.
This is also probably how the boar look for food.
They can't fit through the hole after all and there is no way they're here without eating anything.
But that path is not a priority right now.
What they should do now is to make a plan of how to handle the boars.
As for the other path, they can check it out later after they dealt with the boars.
"So, how are we going to handle the boars?" Xiao Fan asked. He doesn't seem to care much about planning and just want to quickly continue exploring.
"How about this, I'll be a bait and make them chase after me. You guys hide in the intersection to ambush them. Try to at least kill one each. We can lower their number this way." Cloud suggested a plan.
Fang Yue think for a moment about the plan and thought that this should be a good start.
But before she voice her agreement, she look at Xiao Fan and think of something that makes her smile.
Xiao Fan have a bad feeling when he saw that smile.
He didn't really have an opinion about the plan since he's pretty neutral about it but that smile makes him think that she's up to no good.
And just as he expected, Fang Yue agree to the plan but she propose that instead of Cloud who becomes the bait, Xiao Fan should be the one who goes.
Her reasoning for this are sound. She said that Cloud would be more guaranteed in killing one on the ambush.
He has more experience and he also dealt with one faster than Xiao Fan the last time.
She also said that Xiao Fan has always been quick on his feet. So there is no need to be afraid of him not being able to outrun the beasts.
Xiao Fan can't deny all the things she said so he can only silently accept.
But even though doing this is not that risky and not a big deal for him, being forced to do it is not pleasant.
So he silently remember this "favor" and promise himself to pay her back at another time.
Since everyone has agree, they then move to execute their plan.
Cloud and Fang Yue prepare themselves to ambush while Xiao Fan prepare himself to run and be the bait.
After looking at each other and see that everyone is ready, Cloud and Fang Yue nod to Xiao Fan, Indicating that he can start.
Xiao Fan nod back then run to the right path toward where the boars are.
He run until he is about five meters away from the boars.
At that moment, he shout at them to get their attention while preparing himself to run back.
"You ugly boars! Come get me!" Shouted Xiao Fan while patting his butt to taunt.
The boars turn to look at him when he shouted. When they look at Xiao Fan's taunting, they become enraged, roar, then chase after him.
The boars doesn't really know what Xiao Fan's taunting meant but they can still sense his taunting.
Spirit Beasts is just that much clever compared to regular beast.
It's like the level of a monkey or a dog. If you taunt them, they won't truly understand but they can still see your intention and react.
