The rules are quite simple. The disciples can take their time to choose one manual.
But only one manual. If they take more than one, than the consequences would be severe.
Even the elder strictly warn them about it. They can be immediately expelled from the sect or worse, immediately killed on the spot.
Once they choose one manual, they can take it with them. The manual would only be a copy so they are allowed to take it with them.
But they are not allowed to take it outside the sect. They would also be required to report every month and show that they still have the manual with them.
Beside that, they can choose any manual inside the hall.
The disciples then start getting inside the hall. The hall is quite large and the door is also big so they went in smoothly.
The inside of the hall looks luxurious to the disciples. But they don't know that its just decorated without much thought.
There are several wooden bookshelves around the hall. Many thin books are neatly arranged on the bookshelf.
The deciples start looking around after they snap out of a brief awe when they look inside the hall.
They start to look through the bookshelves and read through the introduction of the manual on it.
Cloud also start reading some of the introduction.
Fastest Cultivation Art : Common Grade : This cultivation art would let you cultivates the fastest. The Qi that you gather using this art would also focus on boosting your speed. But the speed of cultivation would result in a very unstable foundation.
Strength Scripture : Earth Grade : This Scripture is focused on strength. The qi gathered using this scripture would be more powerful than others on the same stage. But gathering qi using this scripture would be relatively slow and there are risk that the body can't handle the strength of the qi.
Five Elements Origin Art : Heaven Grade : This cultivation art is focusing on gathering the five elements qi from the surroundings. The qi gathered using this art would be extremely pure, resulting in a very solid foundation. Cultivating using this art would be extremely slow because of the process of gathering extremely pure qi.
Cloud look around the hall and check all the manuals. There are not a lot of them. Only about less than a hundred in total.
Most of the books that filled the bookshelves are copy of the same manual.
Most of the manuals are common grade. About ten of it are earth grade. Only one is heaven grade.
After seeing everything, the disciples start choosing their preferred manual.
Cloud think for a while and finally decides to choose the only heaven grade manual, the Five Elements Origin Art.
His reasoning is simple. This art would give him the strongest foundation.
Cloud is in it for the long run. He doesn't plan on sacrificing the future for instant power.
Even if this art would take him longer to cultivate, it would be fine. He doesn't plan on taking any shortcut in cultivating.
Everyone then take one copy of their preferred manual and leave the hall.
Outside, one senior deciple who is guarding the hall is in charge of documenting the manuals that the deciples took.
She wrote their names and the manual that they took.
After all the process is done, everyone is allowed to go back to their place.
They all go back happily, excited to try what's in the manual and start their qi gathering journey.
Some that haven't reached the Stage Nine of Martial Body Realm would have to wait though.
There are still some that's still in the eighth stage. But nobody is in a lower stage than that.
After arriving at his room, Cloud start studying the manual right away.
He must first understand its content before he begins to try to perform it.
He read the manual several times. The manual is thicker than others he saw at the hall but it still only about ten pages.
After an hour of reading it several times, Cloud begin following what's written on the manual.
He sat cross legged on his room. The manual is on his side. He close his eyes then he start.
To gather qi, one must first sense the qi in the surroundings. After successfully sensing it, they can start absorbing it using their respective art.
Cloud meditate for a while. After about 15 minutes, he can start to sense the surrounding qi.
Then he start following the Five Elements Origin Art.
Slowly, the surrounding qi is being absorbed into his body. Then it is pprocessed and turned into Five Elements Origin Qi.
The process is very slow. A very small amount of Five Elements Origin Qi starts to accumulate in Cloud's meridian.
The qi slowly nourish the meridian and start to awaken it from its dormant state.
It has never been used before so it has always been dormant. It only started awakening when Cloud received temporary qi before.
The presence of qi inside the meridian awaken it bit by bit.
This also happened before when Cloud received temporary qi so all he need to do is continuing that.
