The female elder who took out the round magic item takes Fang Yue as her disciple.
Yan Ying is taken by the elder who was with Yan Huo.
All is to be expected. The only unexpected one is Cloud. He should've been one of those chosen as deciple.

They are led to a simple building made from wood.
Inside the building are a decent size common area and a lot of small rooms.

"I will take you to get a cultivation manual tomorrow so that you can begin. You can rest for today." Xiao Han said lastly before he leave.
Everyone then choose one room and stay inside to rest.
The day has been so exhausting that some of them sleep right away.
Others think about what Xiao Han said. They are a little nervous about the one year deadline but they are also excited to choose the cultivation manual tomorrow.
Having a cultivation manual means that they can finally begin cultivating properly.
Cloud also choose a room and he stay in it.
He think about what happened, about his talent assessment.
The elders said that he has no hope because he have no Spiritual Root. But Cloud doesn't think too much about it. He doesn't envy others because of it either.
