Chapter 68 – A Conversation

Arriving at the mansion, Razan looked at the door of the meeting room and thought:

Well, no way around it. I'm going to have to tell the truth. Here we go.

He then entered.

Loona, who was going through documents, saw Razan coming in, looked at him and asked:

— So why did you come back so early? You said you'd be back later from the hotel.

Razan smiled tiredly and said:

— Well, something happened and I have to tell you.

Loona said: Spit it out, you idiot. What happened to make you like this?

Razan sat in the chair in front of her desk and began the explanation.

After a while, Razan finished explaining.

Loona took a deep breath and said: So you're telling me that because of an enemy's potion you, Charlie, and Vaggie ended up having sex?

She then said:

— And now what are you going to do?

Razan said:

— There's no way around it, right? After what happened, there's no way to keep a normal friendship. The only solution I found was to date both of them while they continue being girlfriends.

Loona said: Well, you did the right thing.

Razan said:

— So you forgive me?

Loona then punched Razan into the wall with force.

Razan came out of the wall and said tiredly:

— I thought you said I did the right thing.

Loona smiled and said:

— You did, and that's why you only got one punch. But I still need to get rid of the bad mood I'm feeling, so I had to punch you.

Razan said:

— I don't know what to say about that.

Loona said: Don't say anything. But I'm not that mad about the situation we're in. This was even kind of normal to happen. So it's just a little anger because you're a lucky idiot. You couldn't be less of a good person so you wouldn't keep attracting women?

Razan said:

— But I'm normal and I treat everyone nicely, casually.

Loona put her hand on her head and said sighing tiredly:

— That's the problem. In Hell, where everyone is bad or has ulterior motives, a being with your level of power treating people well without asking for anything in return is very attractive.

She smiled and said:

— But what can you do, right? If you weren't this kind of idiot, I wouldn't be here today, right?

Razan smiled and approached her, gave her a kiss on the forehead and said:

— I don't mind being an idiot by Hell's standards. After all, to be considered intelligent here you have to use everyone and then throw them away when they lose value. So being called an idiot by that kind of person is the greatest compliment I could want.

At the hotel, Charlie who had just arrived with Vaggie after looking for more sinners, Angel looked at them and asked:

— So how did it go? Did you manage to recruit anyone for the hotel?

Charlie fell onto the couch and said:

— No. We went to several places and no one was interested.

Angel said:

— Well, that's what I thought. No one must have much interest in improving. After all, they're going to die in six months, so it's better to enjoy life.

Vaggie said angrily:

— They don't understand that this is their only chance to escape extermination.

Husk, who was drinking, said:

— Girl, this is Hell. People don't believe in a better life. They just want to enjoy everything they can before they die. No one believes they can get out of here.

Charlie stood up excitedly from the couch and said:

— Then that's exactly why we have to make them believe the hotel is the solution.

Angel said:

— It's a good plan, but how exactly are you going to convince them?

Charlie got embarrassed and said:

— We're still thinking, but I'll find a solution.

Vaggie held her hand and said:

— Yes, I know you will. I'm here for you.

Charlie smiled and said:

— Yes, thank you very much
