We all stood ready to finally finish this foolish game. Jaylon kicked the ball to Yoichi and Yoichi passed the ball to me. I dribbled past multiple defenders but one thing was prominent in the back of my mind. The easiness, IT WAS TOO EASY! I WANT MORE! This unbearable itched in the back of my mind. The feeling of eminent doom, I want to kill him. I want to destroy Kanade's plans. So I passed the ball to Jaylon as the fire in my eyes blazed with intensity. Jaylon smirked and commented on my play. "You're gonna regret this peasant."
He readied himself for a quick shot but the clock ticked one last time. As Kanade came speeding into Jaylon and slid to briefly steal the ball. Finally showing emotion he smiled at the king and spoke. "Watch this." He passed it to one of his teammates and ran forward.
Valeri watched the game closely and tapped on Michael. "Do you know what is a sign that a player is truly in their best element?" "What are you talking about?" "Just answer the question." "I don't know when they feel like they are one with their subconscious or some shit." "No." Michael raised his arms up in confusion and Valeri slapped him on the head and continued. Kanade continued to dribble past our defense but a shining ray of hope reached out in order to barely slow him down. 1 minute on the clock, it was almost over. I slammed into Kanade's side and Jaylon watched out for his passing routes. "There's nowhere to go!" I said. Kanade scanned the field before nutmegging me and dribbling backwards. Me and Yoichi stood in front of the path of the goal and Jaylon ran in order to stop one of his teammates from running to the goal. But in an instant everything came crashing down as the clock behind Kanade reached 5 seconds. It was over, there was no way he could win! I CRUSHED HI- "Close your legs!" Kanade said shortly before kicking the ball full force. It flew between both me and Yoichi's legs and flew up to the top right corner. Jaylon jumped up to kick it away but he just barely missed. It wasn't aimed at the goal but barely outside. HE MISSED! But within seconds that thought changed as one of his teammates ran up and slammed his head into the ball, making the ball crash into the goal. The teammate fell onto the ground and yelled out to the gods. Everybody looked in despair as Kanade stood still and looked back at all of his fallen foes.
