Amber and the rest of them begun to retreat slowly in fear but at the same time, the intensity of the banging doors behind them begun to increase. After staring back at the door, they turned their eyes towards the ghost in front of them.
They were now trapped with nowhere else left to run. The ghost with the sword suddenly begun to walk towards them while they retreated.
The doors finally broke open for the monsters and at the same time the ghost begun to run towards them. When Amber and the team had almost lost all hope of survival, the ghost run, jumped over their heads and slashed all the monsters apart with one slash.
His sword was now burning with flames and his black hair rushed behind his shoulders.
"Wow, he defeated all the monster with one slash?" Luna said
He turned his face towards them, and they immediately became alert. The bravest one among them, Sir Criston finally opened his mouth and spoke.
"Who are you?"
"I was hoping you could tell me that. Where am I?" He asked. Then he took a look at himself, and his face changed into a shocked one. He began asking himself multiple questions.
"What am I doing here? Why does my body look different? If I'm correct the last thing I can remember is that I was about to grab a cup of coffee across the road and I was…"
He paused.
"I died?" He said to himself.
"Is this the afterlife?" He asked Luna and the rest.
"The afterlife? No? But… wait a minute." She too paused when she finally got to have a proper look at his face.
"Oh God of light! It's really you, Lord Lucius Wesley. There's no way I'll ever forget your face." Luna spoke
"Lucius Wesley?" Edward said.
"Luna what are you talking about? You mean the legendary hero of Westrios" Asked the assassin
"If you don't believe me look at his sword. It's the legendary sword, storm breaker! I never thought I would see it with my own two eyes." Said Luna
"This is impossible. Think, think. I died, but I'm now alive in a new body surrounded by monsters. This means, I've been reborn."
Edward whose name was now Lucius could not think due to his shock.
"My Lord you've been reborn." Said Luna while she bowed her head down. A second later, the rest of them all bowed their heads down after her.
"Ah well, if I'm really reborn into a magic world, then I'll have to play along with my new identity. Do they even have internet in this world?"
He asked himself and then made a sad sigh which made them confused.
"You may rise up." Said Lucius. "Who are you guys?" He added
"My Lord, my name is Luna Lesley. I'm a noble and a mage, and this is my sister Ginny. She's an assassin. This is my friend Sir Criston, He's a knight."
"And you?" Said Lucius turning to Amber.
"Oh, you don't need to bother yourself about her my Lord, she isn't worth it." Said Luna
"Hey! You're the one who isn't worth it. Weak noble." Amber teased
"Call me that again and I'll fry your body into sausage." Lunna
threatened
"You can try it and see what happens." Amber replied. Before their duel could escalate any further, the two of them were silenced by sir Criston.
"My Lord, I apologize for their behavior. This is Amber. She's a famous thief from Westeros."
"What a weird combination. A mage, an assassin, a knight and a thief."
Suddenly the monsters returned in greater numbers, and they all were suddenly on their guard. Amber quickly fetched as much gold coins as she could carry and a few crystals. Lucius gripped his sword tightly, preparing to fight the monsters. They had to find a way out of this castle if they wanted their safety assured.
"Aren't those demons too many?" He asked himself. He had just been given another chance of life, and he did not want to lose it a second time.
At that same time, he saw how much anticipation they stared at him with. It looked as if he was their only hope of survival.
Lucius moved forward and slashed the first one easily. The second monster was right above him, but Lucius' body suddenly moved on its own and skillfully slashed it in two. Then for the rest of them, it was like a massacre. They all stood still, paralyzed in disbelief at how easily he handled the monsters. The same monsters in which they could barely kill single one. After they were all dead, Lucius turned to them.
"Do any of you know another way out of here. More of those monsters would return and we can't stay here forever."
"I do!" Amber happily raised up her hand like a student in a classroom.
"No, my Lord you can't trust someone like her." Said Luna
"If you're not coming then you can stay here, noble." She replied to Luna and hopped away happily.
Lucius begun follow Amber and then the rest also followed. Amber led them through corners of the castle they did not even know existed. As they walked, Amber suddenly stopped. Luna was about to speak but Amber immediately shut her mouth and motioned the rest of them to remain quiet. Then she begun to whisper.
"This place is filled with all kinds of traps. Do not make a single noise if you want to keep your heads safe from these armored knights."
With Amber's guidance, they all passed through the silent corridor and arrived in front of a trench.
"What's the meaning of this?" Asked Luna
"This hole would lead us out of the castle. It was an emergency exit built during the time of the great war. Thankfully it still works."
"Jump." Said Amber.
"You first." Said Luna
"If you say so." she replied and jumped into the hole. Luna, Ginny and Criston followed and then finally Lucius. They all slid through the hole and arrived out of a cave which revealed a view of the entire country of Westeros.
As Lucius stared, he was amazed at the beautiful landscape and its natural environment.
"So, this is Westeros." Said Lucius and then he made a sad sigh. If only he had his phone with him. He would have taken a picture of this landscape and got at least a thousand likes on Instagram.
"Yes, my Lord. Unfortunately, Westeros is not as it was a thousand years ago. The country is now stricken by poverty and is also now ruled by the King of Raven hill. But now everything is going to change."
"It is?" Lucius asked
"Yes. We have you." she replied
Lucius collapsed mentally. Now he was their only hope in reviving their country which had fallen. How the hell was he going to figure that out.
