Chapter 338 - Caesar Arrives

By the time White Ghost and the others returned to the ship, the sky had already gone dark.

Wanda had come back early and prepared dinner.

However, White Ghost had to meet a few guests before eating.

White Ghost arrived at the reception room. Two masked women were already waiting there.

No wonder Olga had looked at him so strangely.

When the two women saw White Ghost enter, they immediately stood up to salute. White Ghost waved his hand.

"Give me the item, then you can leave."

One of the women opened the handcuffs connecting her wrist to the case and respectfully handed the briefcase to him.

"This is what you wanted. Our lady said that after you receive it, please call her on the Den Den Mushi."

White Ghost took the case and nodded.

"I'll contact her. I'm a man of great credibility."

The two women said nothing more. After leaving the room, they vanished into the night.

White Ghost opened the case. A large pile of data was neatly arranged inside, though he could not understand any of it.

Before long, Lafitte brought three people into the reception room.

"Captain, I've brought them."

"Mm."

White Ghost nodded, put down the information he could not read, and looked up at the three.

The first thing he saw was Monet, with her green hair, graceful figure, and impressive curves.

Monet smiled and met his gaze.

If this could help the young master become Pirate King, this small sacrifice was nothing.

White Ghost only glanced at her once before shifting his gaze to the person wrapped in a black robe beside her.

As for that funny-looking man, he directly ignored him.

"Shurororororo!"

Caesar removed his black robe and came to White Ghost's side with the look of a complete bootlicker.

"My lord, I am the genius scientist you need, Caesar."

Seeing him act like this, Diamante, standing to the side, looked at him with disdain.

White Ghost extended his hand.

"Hello, my researcher. Welcome."

"Shurororororo!"

Caesar hurriedly held White Ghost's hand.

"I wouldn't dare, I wouldn't dare. As long as my lord needs me, Caesar will spare no effort."

At this moment, Monet placed a large container in front of White Ghost. Inside the container was green liquid.

"The young master entrusted me to bring this to you. He said it will help you solve many problems."

Caesar curled his lips inwardly.

This thing had clearly been created by him.

He had just not had time to experiment with it before he was traded away.

White Ghost smiled at Monet.

"I understand what Doflamingo means. How about this? As long as we successfully create the product on my side, I'll let him supply this liquid.

"I won't fight him over the Tontatta Tribe. After all, I can't eat everything alone, right?"

Monet bowed.

"Then I will thank you on the young master's behalf."

Her curves dazzled White Ghost for a moment, and he quickly withdrew his gaze.

This girl could be teased, but keeping her around was better left alone.

After all, her heart was full of Doflamingo.

Monet naturally noticed his reaction and frowned slightly.

Why was this guy different from before?

From the moment Monet bent down, Caesar and Lafitte consciously turned away.

Who knew? This woman might become one of the captain's wives in the future.

White Ghost waved his hand.

"Alright. I won't keep you for dinner. I need to take my new member to the banquet."

Monet felt puzzled.

Had this guy changed his nature?

Still, she obediently left with Diamante, and the two disappeared into the night.

As they walked away, Monet felt strangely uncomfortable.

She did not know whether it was because she had failed to help the young master, or because of the change in White Ghost's attitude before and after.

After the two left, Caesar became a little nervous, because this great figure kept looking at him.

Caesar carefully asked,

"My lord, do you have any instructions?"

White Ghost touched the case.

"Can I trust you? Or rather, are you and Doflamingo still in contact?"

Caesar hurriedly shook his head.

"My lord, you can trust me one hundred percent. I have already cut ties with Doflamingo. From now on, I am your man."

Lafitte stepped forward.

"Don't move. This is also for your own good. After all, your position is too important. We have to be cautious."

Caesar spread his arms and allowed him to search his body without resisting at all, using this to prove his innocence.

After Lafitte finished searching and found nothing, he took some of Caesar's hair.

Caesar knew what the hair was for.

But right now, he was fish on the chopping board. It was best to behave.

After everything was done, White Ghost pushed the case toward him and signaled for him to look for himself.

"Don't blame me for being so careful. Once you see it, you'll understand."

Caesar opened the case with nervous curiosity.

They had been this cautious. What exactly was inside?

When he saw the contents clearly, he first let out a breath of relief.

Thankfully, it was not some strange thing.

Then he picked up the data and began reading.

"Shurororororo!"

The more Caesar read, the more exaggerated the excitement on his face became.

White Ghost did not rush him.

To those who could understand it, these things had a fatal attraction.

After Caesar finished reading, realization filled his face. He even muttered to himself,

"No wonder my previous experiments kept going wrong. So that was it."

White Ghost tapped the table, interrupting Caesar's thoughts.

"Now do you understand why I was so cautious?"

"Shurororororo!"

Caesar looked at him excitedly.

"My lord, it's only normal to be cautious with this. If this thing spreads, who knows how many people on the sea will go mad?"

After saying that, Caesar carefully glanced at White Ghost.

"My lord, this data…"

White Ghost smiled at him.

"It's exactly what you're thinking. I got it from Vegapunk. Back then, his artificial Devil Fruit was very successful."

As he spoke, White Ghost took out that Devil Fruit.

Caesar remembered it. This was the one Doflamingo had sent people to take away a few years ago.

White Ghost continued,

"It's just that the color of this artificial Devil Fruit is different from Kaido's. Vegapunk's standards were too high, so he considered it a failure."

Caesar's breathing quickened. His eyes burned as he stared at that Devil Fruit.

In the past, his direction had been ordinary Zoans.

Now that he had these things, who could say where things would lead?

White Ghost smiled at Caesar.

"So, my dear researcher, do you have confidence now?"

"Shurororororo!"

Caesar patted his chest.

"My lord, leave it to me. With these things, if I can't create perfect Devil Fruits, you can feed me to the fish."

White Ghost smiled.

Lafitte, standing to the side, smiled as well.

With this, their clone enhancement plan could be realized.

Caesar could no longer wait to begin his experiments. He did not even want to attend the banquet.

White Ghost asked Lafitte to take him to the laboratory prepared for him.

After they left, White Ghost took out a Den Den Mushi and dialed.

Ring, ring, ring.

Click.

The other side answered almost immediately.

"Oh my. My lord, you truly do have credibility."

White Ghost did not waste words and said directly,

"Is Vegapunk creating satellites? His sixth satellite, York—she will betray Vegapunk because she wants to become a Celestial Dragon.

"Don't ask how I know. I'm staking my head on this. I'm a man of my word."
