Naturally, it was to isolate the leader and prevent it from providing on-the-spot tactical commands. Without its guidance, the combat efficiency of the remaining three purple Genesect immediately dropped by more than half!
Realizing this, the Red Genesect refuses to waste another second. It immediately uses Extreme Speed to turn around and race back to the park! Seeing that the target is no longer engaging him, Mewtwo understands that his strategy has been exposed.
Since he failed to convince the leader to stop within this short timeframe, it looks like… he has no choice but to rely on his final option! Maintaining his Mega Evolution form, Mewtwo transforms into a streak of silver-white light, chasing the red flash back toward the Pokémon Hills.
Inside the Pokémon Hills, Ash stands before the three defeated Genesect. He does not take any hostile action against them.
However, the local wild Pokémon living in the park villa are all growling angrily at the three invaders, preparing to move forward and launch an attack to drive them out for good! Seeing this, Ash steps forward, spreading his arms wide to shield the injured Genesect.
"Everyone, please calm down and listen to me first!"
"The truth is, they do not have any truly evil intentions! They are simply looking for a home of their own!"
"I know it is completely wrong to steal someone else's home for yourself!"
"That is why I am going to talk things through with them properly! And I have already thought of an ideal place where they can build a brand new home!"
"Can you please just give me a little more time?"
The local Pokémon look at one another, processing his words. Finally, they slowly step back. Since these Genesect were ultimately brought down by Ash's own Pokémon anyway, they do not mind showing him some respect by giving him a chance to resolve it.
The Douse Drive Genesect tilts its mechanical head. It just heard Ash declare that he has already found a perfectly suitable home for its pack!
This revelation makes its heart skip a beat. As for whether Ash is telling the truth… it believes in him unconditionally! From the exact moment Ash stood fearlessly in front of its chassis to protect it, it had placed its absolute trust in him.
Seeing that the local Pokémon are willing to settle down and listen, Ash lets out a sigh of relief. It is truly a blessing that these park residents are not as stubborn as the Red Genesect.
Otherwise, he would have had to order Charizard to hold them back while he carried the three invaders away.

Before the strike can reach Ash, Pikachu intercepts the trajectory, blocking the metallic claw directly with a hardened Iron Tail! However, the momentum behind the leader's acceleration is simply too immense; Pikachu is thrown backward from the sheer force.
At the same time, the Red Genesect does not have an easy time either—it is deflected upward into the sky by the clever parrying force of the Iron Tail!
In the very next second, Mewtwo materializes on the field. Seeing that Ash is completely unharmed, he lets out a massive sigh of relief.
If Ash had sustained injuries because he arrived a moment too late, there would be absolutely no guarantee that he could maintain his composure to talk things out calmly with the attacker!
"Pikachu! Are you alright!"
Ash does not care about the fact that he was just targeted by a sneak attack. Instead, he sprints over to Pikachu's side and gently picks him up. Fortunately, Pikachu only absorbed the residual kinetic shockwave and did not sustain severe injuries.
"Regroup! Attack again!" the Red Genesect commands through telepathy, barking orders like a military officer. The remaining three purple Genesect support their scarred bodies, slowly rising to their feet to form a strict tactical line alongside their leader.
It looks exactly like a highly disciplined army—a clear remnant of the combat programming instilled in them by Team Plasma.
"Stop this foolishness! If you continue to remain stubborn, I will truly show no mercy!" Mewtwo warns. With his volatile background, it is already an absolute miracle that he has managed to hold back his offensive power for this long.
If it weren't for their shared synthetic origins and the positive moral influence Ash had on his character, these Genesect would have been reduced to scrap metal long ago!
"Save your breath!"
The Red Genesect remains entirely unyielding. It transforms back into its high-speed flight form alongside the other three insects. The leader takes the point position to spearhead the assault, while the remaining three provide flanking support.
Utilizing its incredible velocity, it engages Mega Mewtwo Y in a frantic, close-quarters clash within the narrow confines of the facility!
The intense kinetic shockwaves from their collision repeatedly batter the surrounding electrical equipment.
Within seconds, the overwhelming energy aftermath detonates one of the primary transformers! Immediately after, like a line of falling dominoes, the rest of the transformers bound by the cocoon silk begin to explode one after another!
The resulting wall of fire quickly ignites the massive cocoon structure in the center! Not only that, but the raging fire begins to rapidly spread across the entire power station!
Ash quickly calls out Oshawott to douse the flames, but because Oshawott is unevolved and its level isn't high enough, relying on its Water Gun alone does absolutely nothing to stop the growing inferno.
Seeing the danger, the local Pokémon of the villa set aside their grudges and rushed forward to help extinguish the fire.
At the same time, Mewtwo notices the spreading destruction around them. He makes up his mind to end the cycle of violence right here. He will no longer simply trade passive blows with the Red Genesect; he is going to finish this immediately!
"Since you refuse to listen, do not blame me for being ruthless! Psystrike!"
A terrifying psychic shockwave erupts outward from Mewtwo's body! The moment the Red Genesect enters within a twenty-meter radius of Mewtwo using Extreme Speed, it is instantly frozen mid-air by the sheer mass of mental energy!
It cannot even shift its physical form back to normal! Immediately after, the full weight of the blue psychic energy focuses entirely on its chassis, detonating with absolute precision!
Boom!
The Red Genesect crashes heavily onto the ground, covered in deep dents and scorch marks. This is still a result of Mewtwo deliberately holding back his maximum output; otherwise, that specific signature move could have easily reduced its armored frame to literal dust!
On the other side of the courtyard, Ash, his friends, and the local Pokémon are working tirelessly to contain the fire. During the chaos, the other three purple Genesect—who had been trying to scramble up to assist their leader—find themselves surrounded by a sudden backdraft of blue electrical flames! Fortunately, the local park Pokémon rush into the heat, using their combined efforts to pull the trapped insects out of the fire!
Witnessing this selfless rescue, the three purple Genesect finally experience a change of heart. They are merely confused by their new reality, not entirely brainless.
Seeing the local residents risk their own safety to save them from the fire, they can no longer bring themselves to view these Pokémon as enemies.
Once the flames are fully suppressed, the Red Genesect slowly forces itself up from the ground. Its mind is still locked in a state of hyper-aggression.
Looking at Ash, the humans, and the local Pokémon standing directly in front of it, the high-tech drive cannon on its back slowly begins to glow with an ominous light, preparing to unleash a devastating blast to annihilate everyone in front of it!
[Caitlin: Are you serious?! It took a direct hit like that from Mega Mewtwo Y, and it can still stand up to fight?!]
[Alder: Did the scientists of Team Plasma thoroughly brainwash this Red Genesect? They must have deeply carved some incredibly distorted directives into its programming!]

It finally found a suitable place to settle down, it fought off the local residents for them, and it directed them in battle to secure their future... yet these very companions are now acting as shields for the enemy!

At that exact microsecond, Mewtwo materializes directly in front of the four Genesect! He deploys a massive psychic barrier, completely absorbing the full force of the Techno Blast!

Mewtwo's roaring telepathic voice echoes inside the minds of everyone present. Transforming into a flash of white light, he closes the distance instantly, grabbing the Red Genesect tightly before launching straight into the sky!

Utilizing his psychic authority to firmly lock the Red Genesect in his grip, Mewtwo accelerates at blinding speed, rocketing straight out of the planet's atmosphere! The higher they ascend, the lower the ambient temperature drops.
In the past, Mewtwo had used his Mega Evolution form to explore the boundaries of outer space, but whenever he neared the edge of the planet's gravity, a terrifying, absolute low temperature would strike—a cold that practically approaches absolute zero!
Back then, because he had to divert a massive amount of his energy toward maintaining his flight speed, he didn't have enough residual power to protect his physical form from freezing, which is why he always stopped his ascent at that specific boundary.
However... this time he carries a distinct intuition! He can break through the atmosphere completely!
The extreme, freezing cold of outer space gradually cools down the Red Genesect's hyper-aggressive mental state through sheer physical reality. A few seconds later, Mewtwo successfully carries the Genesect completely clear of the Earth's atmosphere!
Staring down at the magnificent, vibrant blue planet spinning beneath them—a view the ancient insect is seeing for the very first time—Mewtwo begins to speak the absolute truth directly into its mind.
Gazing at the beautiful world, the Red Genesect's aggressive thoughts finally go quiet, and it completely stops viewing the modern inhabitants of the world as its inherent enemies.
[Norman: Oh my goodness! Mewtwo literally flew all the way out of the atmosphere!!]
[Steven: To be able to fly completely clear of the planet... Outside of Rayquaza, there are practically no Pokémon capable of entering outer space entirely under their own power, right? Mewtwo actually achieved this through raw personal strength?!]
[Professor Oak: Perhaps it is more accurate to say… we have continually underestimated the raw potential of a supreme legendary Pokémon. Right now, the Mewtwo in this specific timeline is still not entirely precise when it comes to managing his Mega Evolution energy. Holding onto Mewtwo, the Red Genesect finds itself partially seized up by the freezing temperatures it endured, leaving it unable to generate enough lift to fly properly.
It immediately sends out a frantic telepathic signal to its pack, calling for the other four Genesect to fly up and intercept their fall!
Receiving the data, the four Genesect down in the park immediately take flight. Before leaving the ground, the Douse Drive Genesect turns to Ash, speaking in fractured telepathy:
"Falling... coming... down."
Ash understands the situation instantly—Mewtwo and the leader are falling from the sky! He immediately unclips his Poké Ball, releasing Charizard and ordering him to fly up at top speed to assist the rescue operation!
With everyone working together in a massive, coordinated effort, Mewtwo and the Red Genesect are safely caught and brought back to solid ground completely unharmed.
With the crisis averted, all the local Pokémon let out a collective sigh of relief. Ash steps forward and explains to the entire Genesect pack exactly where he has found the perfect sanctuary for them to live.
Before departing, the five ancient insects diligently clean up the mess they created, dismantling the massive cocoon structure inside the power station, while Mewtwo uses his psychic powers to restore the damaged electrical infrastructure back to its original state.
Immediately after, Ash asks Eric to guide the Genesect to their brand new home—the natural reservation park where the Orichalka flowers (Piko Blossoms) successfully grow!
The fact that these ancient flowers from 300 million years ago can thrive naturally in this specific area proves that the local soil and environmental composition have barely changed since prehistoric times! For these ancient creatures who originated from that exact same era, it is the absolute perfect habitat.
As the pack begins working together to happily arrange their new territory, the Douse Drive Genesect walks over to Ash, delivering its clear appreciation:
"Thank you... Ash!"
"If you ever need our help in the future... You can come find us at any time!" Mewtwo adds softly as he lands gently beside Ash. After everything that transpired, the telepathic voice of the ancient leader has become remarkably clear and stable.
"As for me… if you ever find yourself facing a severe crisis in the future, Ash, as long as I am within reach, I will immediately come to your side!"
Ash flashes his signature, carefree grin.
"I didn't really do anything at all! Mewtwo deserves all the credit here... You're planning to leave now, aren't you?"
"Yes... there are still many Pokémon across this world who are suffering or in danger. My purpose is to find them and protect them one by one, which I view as a form of atonement for the actions of my past… If you wish for me to stay, I would be entirely willing to travel alongside you on your journey!"
Mewtwo speaks with absolute sincerity, even going so far as to actively offer to join Ash's core traveling party! If any regular trainer were to find out that a supreme legendary entity was offering to travel the world with them, they would undoubtedly agree on the spot without a single second of hesitation! Yet, Ash simply smiles and shakes his head.
"No need, Mewtwo! You should do what you truly want to do! I will look forward to the day when our paths cross again… somewhere out there in the future!"

With those parting words, Mewtwo shifts back into his Mega form and vanishes into the horizon in a flash of light.
The historical chapter belonging to Genesect and Mewtwo comes to a successful close. The screen slowly fades to black before gradually illuminating once more. It seems the specialized showcase for Charizard still has one final segment remaining… Part Four!
