Baby 5 could no longer tell how much time had passed since that night with White Flame.
All she knew was that her world had changed forever.
He had broken her pride—stripped her of every illusion about loyalty or family—and yet, in the hollow that remained, a strange warmth had taken root.
No one in the Donquixote Family had ever needed her the way he did.
"I… was needed again…?"
That single thought looped endlessly in her mind.
When dawn came, she lay exhausted beside him.
White Flame rose from the bed as if he had never slept, pulling on his black coat, his movements precise and cold.
"You've served your purpose," he said flatly. "You're Donquixote scum, and I'm your enemy. You gave me what I wanted—so I'll let you live."
He fastened his collar. "We're even."
Baby 5 sat up, clutching the sheets. "You can't just walk away! You're the first man who ever truly needed me. Wherever you go, I'll follow you—to the end!"
White Flame turned, eyes like ice.
"Would you still follow me if it meant turning your guns on Doflamingo himself?"
Baby 5 didn't hesitate. "If you asked it of me, I'd kill anyone. Even him. Just… don't leave me."
He frowned, almost puzzled. "Women like you… always confusing attachment with purpose."
Then, after a long pause, he said quietly:
"If you really want to prove it—bring me Doflamingo's head.
Only then do you deserve to stand beside me."
With that, he left the room, smoke trailing behind him.
Baby 5 stared at the door, tears streaking her face.
"If that's what he needs… then I'll do it.
I'll give him Doflamingo's head."
The King's Plateau
"Buffalo and Baby 5 are still missing?"
Doflamingo's wineglass shattered in his grip, red liquid splashing across the marble floor. His temper, restrained for days, finally began to crack.
"Master," said Viola, hesitantly stepping forward. "I've seen her—Baby 5 is on her way here. But Buffalo… he's gone."
"Forget Buffalo," Doflamingo hissed. "As long as Baby 5's alive, there's still loyalty left."
A deep metallic voice cut through the hall. "If she's been attacked, allow me to act."
The armored giant, Pica, stepped from the shadows, the black-spade tattoo gleaming on his shoulder.
"No," Doflamingo snapped. "You stay by my side. The others are dead—you won't join them. Understood?"
Pica hesitated, then bowed.
Moments later, the great doors burst open with a deafening crash.
Baby 5 stood framed in sunlight, soot-streaked and furious.
"Baby 5," Doflamingo began with a disarming smile. "Welcome home—"
"Go to hell, Doflamingo!"
Her hands transformed into twin cannons, barrels glowing red.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The throne room erupted in fire and smoke as rockets tore through the air.
"For my man," she screamed, "die!"
When the haze cleared, Doflamingo stood untouched, Pica's towering stone walls having shielded him from every blast.
"So," Doflamingo murmured, stepping forward through the settling dust, "who is it this time? Who told you to turn your guns on me?"
His smile was gone. Only fury remained.
Baby 5 leveled another weapon at him. "You don't need to know. I'll take your head—and deliver it to him myself!"
A blur moved faster than sight.
A single punch struck her square in the chest, sending her crashing across the hall.
The old fighter Lao G stood where she had been, fist still trembling with impact.
"Baby 5!" he barked. "Have you lost your mind? This man raised you like his own sister! You would betray your family for some stranger?"
"You can't stop me!" she shouted, staggering to her feet. "I'll kill Doflamingo—and bring his head to the man I love!"
"Love?" Doflamingo's voice was low, dangerous.
"Tell me, then. Who is he?"
Baby 5 bit her lip, tears shining in her eyes. "…I can't."
His smile twisted. "Very well."
"Since you're so eager to kill me—don't blame me for returning the favor."
He turned to his subordinates.
"Lao G. Pica. Chain her to the tower. In three days…"
The light caught his glasses, hiding the bloodlust in his eyes.
"…I'll execute her myself."
