Vegeta's chilling voice dropped like ice water down Burter's spine.
He stiffened where he stood, breath catching.
He did not dare say another word, but in his heart he cursed Vegeta for being a tyrant with no honor.
"Of course," Vegeta continued casually, "the situation has changed. I think I will adjust the rules a bit.
For example… why do all of you not attack Kakarot together?
As long as you defeat him, I will still let you walk away.
It sounds like a wonderful deal for you, does it not?"
Vegeta's smirk widened.
He turned his gaze toward Goku.
"You do not mind, do you, Kakarot?"
"Mind? Of course not!" Goku grinned brightly. "These guys are way too weak anyway. If they come one at a time, it is not even enough for a warm up."
Simple thoughts. Simple words.
But absolute confidence, earned through strength.
Vegeta could sense it clearly.
Goku's battle power had already passed one hundred thousand.
Exactly as he had predicted.
The man had grown stronger again.
Let me see your true strength, Kakarot. Do not disappoint me.
Vegeta silently mused and said nothing more.
With Goku's arrival, the atmosphere on the battlefield changed instantly.
"You dare look down on us?! You think you are Vegeta with a power level of one hundred eighty thousand?! Do not get cocky!"
Burter was completely enraged, blue ki flaring violently around him.
He absolutely refused to believe Goku was stronger than he was.
In a single instant, he vanished into a streak of blue light, rushing straight at Goku.
Krillin and Gohan immediately retreated, far away, too afraid to interfere.
But what everyone thought they were seeing
was entirely different from what was really happening.
To the weak, it looked as if Burter was circling Goku at impossible speed, hunting for an opening,
and Goku was standing still, waiting.
Reality was very different.
Burter attacked again and again,
and every time his strike was about to land, Goku slipped away in that same instant and returned to exactly the same stance.
Burter was fast.
Goku was faster.
Vegeta, of course, saw everything clearly.
This was exactly the same humiliation Goku had dealt in the original story
to both Burter and Jeice.
"Damn it! I do not believe this!"
Burter roared and fired volley after volley of energy blasts.
Yet Goku, who still appeared motionless, was untouched.
Not even grazed.
This finally pushed Burter into panic.
The scouter insisted that Goku's power level was only twenty five thousand.
That number made no sense at all.
"Something is wrong! Burter, we attack together!"
Jeice, sensing real danger, repositioned himself on Goku's opposite side.
If Vegeta said they could fight as a team, there was no shame in doing so.
Burter regained a bit of composure at Jeice's side.
Red and blue streaks spiraled around Goku as the two attacked with everything they had.
But even together, nothing changed.
Goku had studied their patterns long enough.
He was done playing.
Suddenly he opened his hand
and with a powerful shout—
A tsunami of ki exploded outward.
A shockwave so massive that even fighters of similar strength would be injured at close range.
As for Jeice and Burter?
With their pitiful forty thousand range battle powers…
They were helpless.
They were thrown aside like insects caught in a raging storm.
