The pressure eased slightly, but what had just happened drew some unwanted attention. Cyn turned back with a smile toward Kassal and Miguel—a smile that clearly said, I told you, it's really that easy.
With curious eyes and a dark expression, the man asked while absentmindedly squeezing the backside of the deviant sitting on his lap,
"So… who are you?"
Miguel spoke from the side on Cyn's behalf.
"We're just a guild. Unfortunately, our interests crossed with those of some other people, so we're here to settle a few things."
The man chuckled softly, mockery laced into his tone.
"I see… but let me remind you once again—trust me, this is not the right place to 'settle things.'"
Miguel listened, even though the man had clearly misunderstood him. Cyn, however, spoke boldly from the other side.
"I don't really care. They shouldn't have been here in the first place. So they won't stay here. And they won't set foot in the capital again."
