Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Iron Fist Garp

Lu Yue looked at the boundless ocean before her. Although she still wasn't sure which sea area of the Pirate World she was in —the Four Seas? The New World? Or the Grand Line, the first half of the paradise.

The system didn't seem to possess any map-like abilities, nor could it pinpoint her location, even after some study in the air.

The system seemed only capable of assigning missions, which immediately made her feel a bit helpless. Forget it, this was good enough; she didn't need to be so picky.

At worst, she could explore herself. Now that she possessed Gliza's flying ability and speed, traveling across the sea was no problem. Even facing those super strong natural disasters, she could easily resolve them.

Although her current overall strength was that of a Vice Admiral Candidate, the power of the Gliza skills she used was no less than that of the Four Emperors and the Admirals.

She could naturally resolve minor sea disasters easily, unlike the body's previous owner, who had been shipwrecked and drowned in the sea due to a small storm.

"Hahahaha." A strange laugh escaped Lu Yue's lips. Having merged with the Gliza template, her voice and mannerisms had become very similar to it.

As the power of nothingness erupted within her, fluctuations of void energy immediately appeared in the air beside her.

Lu Yue flew off in the direction before her. Her speed was extremely fast, pushing aside the surrounding air.

However, Lu Yue was completely unaffected, maintaining a sweet yet eerie smile on her face.

Because she loved this feeling —it was fantastic... At this moment, in Loguetown in the East Blue, a Navy warship with a dog's head chewing a bone as its figurehead was docked beside a harbor.

On this vast ocean, there was only one Marine who used a dog's head as a symbol for his figurehead.

The Marine Hero who once chased the Pirate King at speed and repeatedly drove the Pirate King's crew into desperate situations: Iron Fist Garp.

Furthermore, because he was unwilling to become a lackey for the Celestial Dragons and sought a life of freedom, Garp refused the opportunity to be promoted to Admiral more than two decades ago.

His current position was Marine Headquarters Vice Admiral, but one shouldn't underestimate him; even in his old age, he remained a top-tier powerhouse on the current seas. His Iron Fist and peak physical techniques still instilled fear in most pirates.

And now, this Marine Hero, an old man whose face was already weathered and aged, and whose hair had long turned gray, was sitting on a chair on the deck, frantically eating the donuts placed on the table in front of him.

Suddenly, a man wearing a black suit and a gray hat walked up. He also wore a Marine Justice cloak draped over his back.

"Mr. Garp, we have confirmed with the Marine Soldiers here that Smoker has indeed left Loguetown with his subordinate Tashigi. It is said he went to the Grand Line to pursue your grandson."

The gray-clad man said with a strange yet serious expression.

The gray-clad man was none other than Garp's subordinate, Bogard. He had followed Garp for a long time, and their relationship was equivalent to that of the current Four Emperors and their First Mates. His strength was not weak; his Haki and swordsmanship were very strong, perhaps even comparable to the elderly Rayleigh now.

"Seriously, interrupting me when I'm trying to break the donut-eating record," Garp complained slightly.

Hearing this, Bogard and the nearby Marine Soldiers felt helpless. Their Marine Vice Admiral, Mr. Garp, truly was baffling.

"Hahaha, since my brat of a grandson won't listen, let Smoker go teach him a lesson," Garp suddenly burst out laughing.

This instantly left the surrounding Marine Soldiers and Bogard speechless once again.

"Alright, we've been docked here long enough. Head to Marine Branch 153 in Shells Town and escort that Colonel who abused his military authority back." Garp's expression returned to normal as he spoke.

"Yes, Mr. Garp." Bogard also resumed a serious expression as he replied.

Since Garp was finally acting normal, Bogard quickly went down to make arrangements, and the warship sailed away from Loguetown shortly thereafter...

"Hmm? Hahaha, finally, I see something other than the boundless ocean." Lu Yue, who was quickly traveling through the air, said with a laugh.

She had been traveling like this for some time, but all she could see was the endless blue ocean and the sky full of blue sky and white clouds.

In her previous life, she was a shut-in. At first, it was fine and she was amazed, as she had rarely seen the ocean. To view the sea from this perspective, flying rapidly at such a high altitude, like an immortal, was incredible.

But as time went on, she quickly grew tired of it. Even if small birds flew past or sea creatures jumped out of the water, it didn't lift her spirits.

But finally, she saw ships. This was what Lu Yue wanted to see most right now.

Because she was eager to know what time period this Pirate World was currently in —whether Luffy had been born, or if he had already set sail, and which arc of the storyline they were currently in.

"Huh? Strange! Something's not right." Lu Yue, who had stopped and was hovering mid-air, looking at the ships below, immediately realized something was off and spoke up.

Then Lu Yue discovered what was happening down below.

The flag on one of the ships had a black background, with some modifications to the basic white skull.

But having watched the Pirate King, Lu Yue recognized it instantly: this was clearly a pirate ship.

The other ship seemed to be a merchant ship, looking very similar to how she remembered them.

"So, a pirate ship is currently attacking a merchant ship." Lu Yue stated the truth.

Moreover, everything happening on the ships was already in her sight. After merging with the Gliza template, even her vision had improved.

She saw the pirates fighting fiercely with the merchant ship's security detail.

Swords and guns showed no mercy; blood flowed and lives were lost.

But ultimately, the pirates had the upper hand.

"Hmm? What is that?"

But suddenly, Lu Yue saw something strange: a woman dressed in black swordsman attire rushed out of the ship's cabin. She looked about three years older than Lu Yue currently was.

Holding a standard katana, she charged into the pirates. With swift, decisive strikes and incredibly refined swordsmanship and movement, she moved through the pirates, reaping lives.

This immediately relieved the pressure on the merchant ship's guards.

"Hehehe, interesting. Let's get a closer look." Stars appeared in Lu Yue's eyes, and she immediately flew down, landing on the crow's nest of the pirate ship. It was currently empty, as the crew had likely gone to fight on the merchant ship.

This spot was perfect, as no one would notice her here. After all, everyone's attention and focus, both the merchant ship's crew and the pirates, were centered on the battle on the merchant ship.

The battle continued. The black-clad woman, with determined eyes, swung the silver light in her hand, once again severing the heads of two pirates, scattering blood.

"This woman is terrifying."

"We are no match for her."

Seeing their comrades lying in pools of blood beside the black-clad woman, these minor pirates immediately panicked, grew afraid, and retreated constantly.

"Trash, get out of my way."

A deep voice rang out among the pirates. Then, a tall man, at least two meters high, wearing steel gauntlets that extended up his arms, pushed the surrounding pirates aside and stepped forward.

"Haha, the Captain! How could I forget the Captain?"

"That's right, the Captain will definitely deal with this woman."

"Exactly! This is Savage, the Captain of our Iron Arm Pirate Crew, a great pirate of the East Blue with a bounty of 16 million."

A bounty of 16 million was indeed quite high in the East Blue.

"Damn it, he came out after all."

"What do we do? That's a great pirate with a 16 million bounty."

"Yeah, I'm afraid even Miss Black Sword Princess won't be able to defeat him."

Everyone on the merchant ship, including the captain and the guards, grew terrified.

They were, after all, just ordinary people, while the Iron Arm Pirate Crew, along with the man before them, were notorious great pirates in the East Blue.

At this moment, let alone the others, even the black-clad woman's eyes were filled with apprehension, as she had heard of this Captain, and this pirate captain was exactly the type she was least skilled at dealing with.

However, her gaze was still filled with determination, along with caution. The determined look seemed to pierce through everything, and the cautious expression seemed to tell people that she was not to be trifled with.

"Bounty Hunter Black Sword Princess, I remember you killed two of my men recently, didn't you?" Savage said, looking at the black-clad woman with fierce eyes, his hands resting in front of him. There was a hint of slyness in his gaze, as if he was calculating something.

"Hmm, a Bounty Hunter?" Lu Yue was surprised when she heard this and looked at the black-clad woman. This identity, this profession, was just like Zoro's. This made Lu Yue even more interested in her; she felt like a brilliant gem that made Lu Yue's heart flutter.

"Harming innocent people —those two subordinates of yours deserved to die." Black Sword Princess said with a cold demeanor. That cold attitude seemed to tell people that she was not someone easily bullied.

"Very well, then let me beat you to death right here. Consider it revenge for my two useless subordinates." Savage revealed a Savage expression. That Savage expression was like a beast ready to pounce on its prey.

He finally raised his steel gauntlets and charged over. The steel gauntlets seemed like Savage's fangs, ready to crush the enemy's throat at any moment.

Black Sword Princess could only meet the enemy by gripping her sword with both hands. She felt the pressure and switched to a two-handed grip, as this was the only way to increase her strength —the power of two arms being greater than one. It was like a sharp double-edged sword, ready to sever the enemy's defense line at any moment.

The two quickly began fighting, Iron Arm versus blade technique. This was a clash between martial arts and swordsmanship. Oh, right, since Savage used steel gauntlets, he was also considered a weapon user. The steel gauntlets seemed like Savage's Iron Fist, ready to pulverize the enemy at any moment.

Black Sword Princess continually attacked with her blade, but Savage easily blocked every strike using his steel gauntlets, showing no strain on his face, as if he were just playing around. The steel gauntlets seemed like Savage's shield, ready to fend off the enemy's attacks at any moment.

In contrast, Black Sword Princess's face was already showing signs of struggle, and sweat was forming. The sweat seemed like her tears, ready to stream down, as if telling people that she had given her all.

"Haha, it's useless! Your ordinary sword can't cut through my steel gauntlets at all. Besides, why would a woman like you try to compete with me in strength?" Savage's face revealed a triumphant expression. That triumphant expression seemed to tell people that he had already won, and the steel gauntlets seemed like Savage's pride, ready to be shown off to people at any moment.
