In a open platform, the sun bright and hazy rays shone bright upon the great school- Lancelot Academy.
This was the top three academy in the world after the human evolution.
About Five hundred years ago when hunman evolution began.
It was just a normal planet, with nothing interesting.
But suddenly , portals appear in different locations, at first, the leaders saw it as nothing interesting.
But that was their biggest mistake, instantly the portal tore open and from it came beast.
Beast instantly flooded the whole area, and for that season humans died in bulk to, in tens of thousands.
They tried... To fight against the beast with their weapons... But what could it do.... Nothing.
The human race was in the blink of extinction when suddenly, ... People started gaining extraordinary powers.
First it started with some amount of people, but soon.. more rose, and then the war began.
They fought with their might, trying to protect their race, but the more they fought... The more they died and the more portals tore open.
Soon enough, they decided to migrate - to leave and went to a safer place where they could breed and defend themselves from the beast .
Soon years passed away and more people began to rise, academy began to be formed to train the future protectors.. and now , it's a special day again.
A talent awakening day that would decide the faith of the future of humanity.

In a large open area, students could be seen, some feeling neutral, some feeling scared, while multiple of them were proud.
"What talent do you think I'll get?". A nervous student asked.
"Hey! I don't know". The student responded.
Meanwhile a small gathering was already formed and a discussion has already started.
"Ooh Jared! Trust me, you're going to get an amazing class". A girl with long purple hair which was properly packed said.
"Really?". Jared answered, his tone soft and filled with care.
"Huhu". The girl nodded at Jared's question.
"You know, you might even get an A rank swordman class". Another boy with yellow hair chimed in.
"Yeah! I guess so. Maybe an S rank swordman class". Jared said boastfully.
This small group was made up of ; Jared- the MC and the second most strongest and skilled in the school, Lucy - Jared's girlfriend and eight most strongest, and Lukas - Jared's best friend who is fifth most strongest.
They were a force to be reckoned with, and even the teachers and principal knew that.
The murmurs continued, until finally, the door creaked open.
All attention turned to the door, and from there came out a flawless beauty , her beauty was soo outstanding that even nobles would beg to be with her.
But yet- she was still single and instantly rejected all marriage proposals.
This was - Miss Kate, their homeroom teacher.
Walking towards the stage where a huge glowing orb was set, she calmly cleared her throat as she prepared her speech which everyone present knew of her next action
"Student of Lancelot Academy". She began, her tone soft and smooth.
"Welcome to Lancelot Academy's awakening day".
"..... As you all know, you're the future of humanity, and the hope for all our brethren . This day would decide humanity stand, and the fate of our brethren, our loved ones, our families and friends ". She paused, making her the words sink deep within everyone .
Then she continued. Her tone was now more serious.
"The beasts which are spewing from the portals aren't supposed to taken lightly, they are evil, strong, and vicious". She said, as she made it sound more creepy.
"Also, this is a chance to prove yourself, to have fame, to gain respect and recognition, and to get... Wealth".She said her tone was calm, but there was a hint of challenge.
"Also". She continued.
"..... This is the time to get into a better guild, a guild so renowned and powerful, a guild with enough connections..... You can get all of this.. even women or men... If you awaken a better talent". She said.
Her speech finally ended, but that speech instantly made multiple students to be eager, to get a powerful talent.
"So.. Jared.. If you awaken a powerful talent, I hope you won't get multiple women?". She asked, her eyes flashing with something more.
Hearing such questions, Jared stiffened but then.. he chuckled.
"Nah! I wouldn't, as long as we do not cheat behind each other's backs ". He said, trying to keep himself Cool.
"Alright then.. I trust you after all". She said as she shifted closer to Jared.
"Pfft! Guys.. at least try to stop talking for once , an awakening is going on for crying out loud". Lukas said, a hint of irritation in his tone.
"Hahaha! Don't tell me that you're jealous of us Lukas?". Jared said jokingly.
Lukas's face Instantly turned red from embarrassment.
"No! No! No! Not at all... I wouldn't be jealous of you.. after all, you deserve to take the good things ". He said calmly, but there was a hint of malice in his tone.
' Just you wait Jared, things would really fall apart, and when that happens, I'll make sure to make you pay... For everything'. He thought, malice and hatred has now consumed him.
Meanwhile, Jared was in deep thought, everything he has worked for, every hard work he has been through, was all for this day, this special day where his future would either be bright or dark .
' Melissa, I hope you wait a little more, I would make sure that I work hard and support mom for the your school fees.. I promised '. He thought, a linger of pain and determination was now plastered in his expression.
Today would decide everything.. his future, and his standing in the society
Meanwhile, in the stadium, a huge orb was in the middle, it was pulsing with purple light.
"Now, this is the time we've all been waiting for, the awakening day.. This time is the special time of the year. The time where strong people are recognized and recruited.. The awakening event has officially begun".
