The military spaceship finally broke through the clouds of the suspended temple, gliding toward the floating platforms of the temple.
Yue Yue was glued to the window, her eyes wide as she saw the massive white marble structures held up by ancient gravity-defying technology. It was beautiful, serene, and absolutely massive.
"We're here, Yue Yue," Han Soi said, standing right behind her. He didn't look at the scenery; his eyes were fixed solely on her, watching the way the sunlight hit her hair. He felt a strange unease in his gut, but he dismissed it as lingering worry over the Twin Pirates.
After all, he was here with her, and nothing would go wrong.
The ship docked on the suspended platform designated for outsider arrivals. The landing process was smooth. As the ramp lowered, Yue Yue skipped down, her feet hitting the cool, polished stone.
She was like a child in a candy store, spinning around to take in the tall spires and the scent of exotic flowers that bloomed in the air.
