Yue Yue realized that no matter how much she pouted, Han Soi was not going to let her step foot on that toxic ground. He was a wall of muscle and stubbornness when it came to her safety.
"Han Soi, listen to me," she said, looking him straight in the eyes with a serious expression.
"I have a special power. I can purify things. I want to see if I can heal the soil. Please, just let me try. I won't go out there, I just want to test it."
Han Soi's expression shifted instantly to one of deep worry. "Yue Yue, what are you saying? Purifying a piece of meat is one thing, but the ground? This soil is the source of the pollution. It is concentrated poison. It is much more dangerous than anything else."
But looking at her pitiful, pleading eyes, Han Soi felt his heart soften. He sighed heavily, unable to win against her gaze.
