Chapter 2 - Educating the prince

"Ah, it's good that you're awake, there are a few things we need to discuss." Mel walked into the living room and handed Inko a coffee. Inko was overwhelmed so she just accepted the coffee and rubbed circles into the back of her sleeping son.

"W-who are you? I am very confused." Inko asked helpless as her eyes were drawn to the elven women who had ears like her son. Straight out and long.

"A very good question Miss Inko, My name is Mel and I am a part of the young Princes quirk." Mel bowed slightly and Inko nodded with a bit more attention, she had always wondered why her son looked so different from her and why he was so different from the other kids she read about. "The young prince wanted a guide to use his quirk, and I was created. His quirk is a creation type of sorts. He has a personal dimension filled with a fantastical land. But there are a few aspects to it, when he wishes for something to be created energy will be taken from him and turned into the thing he wishes." Mel gave a small gesture to herself and Inko nodded more comfortable with the now non stranger.

"Everything he creates will have some aspect of the old fairytales of elves makeing them no longer a fantasy. For example me, he only wished for a guide but his quirk interprets it me in an elven form so here I am."

And so a sudden new member was added to there small family, Mel was a welcome help in making sure Izuku didn't create any random thing that popped into his head. She was also a great babysitter and tutor for Izuku so his great mind flourished.

Izuku found himself standing over the trembling body of a crying boy his hands raised up as he stared three boys down.

"This isn't how a hero acts Katsuki." Izuku was nearly able to keep the sarcasm out of his frail five-year-old body. Bakugo had over the years grown a ego to big for his body because of his powerful explosion quirk, Izuku had tried to stop it but he was one freak compared to the entire school teacher staff and the school cronies.

"Oh yeah Deku? Well a hero is the best of the best! I have to prove that to everyone and that starts with beating down anyone who thinks otherwise." Bakugo threw a fist into his hand sending off sparks in an intimidation tactic. It didn't affect Izuku though and looked into Bakugo's eyes with a look of dead serious.

"Katsuki, if you think that's how a hero acts your wrong, your acting more like a villain." Izuku knew what his words were going to start but he was taught to tell the truth so he would.

"Ehh!! Deku! What the hell did you just call me!" Tick marks exploded over his head and his cronies egged him on.

"Come in Bakugo! Show the freak who's the future number-one hero!" Subasa said as he flapped his bat wings nearly a few inches off the ground,

"Yeah! Put the freak in his place!" stretchy fingers shouted as he wiggled his long fingers.

"Yeah! Deku its time to put you in your place!" Bakugo shouted and he lunged in with his two cronies.

Izuku put up a good fight leaving Bakugo with a black eye but it was a three-on-one and Izuku was small he played there with a black eye a lot of cuts and bruises and burns for a minute until he decided to get up. He winced at the pain but did not let the tears fall, he trudged home and opened the door to a delicious smell. Sighing slightly he walked into the kitchen and waited silently behind Mel and his mother who were cooking. Mel noticed him first but she just gave him a small smile innately knowing why he was injured, pausing to go get a first aid kit Mel tapped Inko on the arm. Turning around she gasped.

"Oh my god! Izuku what happened!" she rushed over fretting over her child.

"Its ok mom, I was just protecting somebody from some bullies." Izuku explained easily with a bright smile as Mel came in with the first aid and bandaged him up.

"Oh my baby, but you shouldn't have to get so injured." Inko kept fretting as a sudden gleam entered Izuku's eyes and Mel gave a small hidden smile.

Later after dinner and getting ready for bed Izuku had his quirk on and the bright door was open from where Mel had just walked through. Taking a deep breath he mustered up the courage to walk through it and closed his eyes. Walking through was like being in a cold place and then walking into the warm sun, warmth flowed through his body and he stepped into soft grass. Opening his eyes he was blown away, he knew mentally that his quirk had its own dimension but it looked incredible. A towering mountain that stretched into the clouds was close in the distance and a long winding road led to it. Tall elven men with sleeveless coats were dragging carts of stone and they were all heading toward the mountain.

"Impressive isn't it?" turning to the familiar voice he saw Mel smiling at him. "This is why I wanted you to imagine a company of workers." she gestured to the line of tall men with fair skin and varying body heights. They all had the coats but along with that they all had loose pants that were tucked into black sturdy boots. The clothing they all wore was light green.

"W-what?" Izuku was in shock, the place was stunning and he had just seen the fields of food off to the side and the farmers working there.

"Come on, I will explain everything." Mel waved forward and started walking down the road. Izuku hurried to catch up, he did in fact remember imagining the farmers and workers along with some stone smiths, he didn't know what a stone smith was but Mel had told him it was good practice along with saying that she was going to make him a present.

"This is your kingdom to put it simply," Mel stated as she walked,

"Like in the stories?" Izuku asked as he waved at the workers who were walking in groups of three pulling the carts, and they waved happily back.

"Exactly, you are the prince to this land and what kingdom doesn't have a castle?" she asked smugly as the reaches the peak of a hill. Izuku looked over and was even more shocked. In the distance was hundreds of people all working on a huge slab of stone where walls were being built. A small village of hutts was I front of it but even more permanent houses were there as well. He hadn't even remembered creating so many people but then he realized that he had never specified how many people it would take only that there was enough, he had been asleep for two days after that.

"I was going to gift you your castle when you came if age but I believe that you are here for another reason?" Mel turned with a suddenly serious face and Izuku gulped slightly then remembered the look on the boys face as he trembled on the ground while Bakugo stood over him. Izuku touched his eye and felt the shot of pain go through his face. And he took a deep breath. He turned and the look on Izuku's face put a smile on Mel's face. It was a look of pure determination and strength.

"I want to know how to protect people, I want to get strong so that my mom doesn't worry about me when I help people. And there was never a good kingdom with a weak king, I need to get stronger." the elven workers passing by who heard this smiled and saw the sudden flash of light as a lage figure formed.

Like all children his age Izuku admired Allmight, So when he wanted a teacher so that he could be a hero who protects people like him. It was no surprise that the figure resembled Allmight. A elven man with bright skin and a giant disarming smile was formed. He was taller then Allmight by a head and had the mussels to match. A laugh filled the air as the man laughed causing everybody who heard it to smile.

"I heard somebody needs a trainer! Well I am your guy!" the Elven man with bright blue eyes said. Izuku looked up at him with awe as he took him in. A robe of silky white and red with gold trims hung from his body. But he noticed that they were tight around the wrists and ankles allowing for unrestricted movement, a giant axe hung from his back next to a long spear with a sword at his waist. All the blades were black with a red hue and had ornamented gilts. His hair was blonde and hung from his head like a mane that curled. And Izuku smiled along with Mel.
