Chapter 3
*Police sirens wailing*
I jumped from the couch and grinned.
"Uh oh..here comes the popo"
I ran outside, faster than lightning--excited to see what will happen next.
I ran to the front door, put on my coat, and made my way to the crime scene.On the way, I saw Yoon walking toward me.
"It was you, wasn't it?"
"What do you mean?"
"You k*lled her, right?"
"What do you mean?, k*lled who?"
"멍청한 짓 하지마" ( don't act stupid)
*silence*
"So what if I did it?... didn't you want me to succeed?..."
"I wasn't expecting this!...I wasn't expecting you do to it for real!..."
*Footsteps approaching*
"무엇을 하세요"( Do what?).
It was a cop.
I silently signalled Yoon to keep his mouth shut, but what happend next...was shocking.
Yoon confessed that he killed Queen Bee.
He screamed and said "내가 그녀를 죽였어요!네, 전부 저였어요!"( It was me. I k*lled her!)
My heart dropped as I saw the tears running down he's cheeks..one by one.
"Officer he's just in shock!...he wasn't involved in any of this!...She was his best friend!" I said. But the officer obviously didn't believe me and handcuffed Yoon--telling him to stay silent.
My heart sank as I saw him drive away in the police car.
Red and blue lights flashed in the distance...
"내가 무슨 짓을 한 거지?" (What have I done?). "이럴 수가 없어"...( This can't be...)
"저... 정말 미안해요... 윤... 용서해 줘요."( I... I'm sorry...Yoon...please forgive me.)
*15 hours later*
"You may be seated" the Judge exclaimed.
They blabbered about the case of "Nella Rose"...which was Queen Bee's government name.
They addressed Yoon as a suspect...I could feel the guilt feeding on my insides.I couldn't give my game away though...not until the ten X's are down.
So I wiped my tears. Walked out of the courtroom. And made my way to school...
The first day of ninth grade.
Kicked off with a horrible start.
But I was determined to get my revenge.
So I walked to the rooftop.
Where "The Boys" usually smoked.
I haven't planned their death yet--maybe I should improvise...?
*ominous music plays*
I walked up the stairs to the rooftop.
Every step i took, echoed.
Every breath, sounded heavy.
I could hear my heart beating aloud.
But nothing could stop me.
I now have the crown.
"안녕하세요 여러분" ( Hello boys)
The leader replied, "Well, well, well...look who it is...Mrs. Wednesday Addams."
I could hear their infuriating laughs echoing through my ears.
I couldn't hold back anymore...
Every minute, felt like an hour.
Every second, felt like a minute.
*Dramatic music plays*
One...two...three.
"누가 첫 번째인가? ( Who's first?)
I took my bag and broke the glass box. Where the fire extinguisher was in.
My first target..was Benson..the youngest member of The Boys.
I hit him straight in the balls with my bag. And hit him on the head with the fire extinguisher... everything happend so smoothly.
I felt like a movie star.
The other members were obviously tryna get me down... but looks like they skipped both leg AND arm day!
First target. Down.
Next X...is Wilson...the middle aged dude in the trio.
He managed to get the fire extinguisher, but before he could do anything...I reached for my pocket kn*fe...
that's when my life flashed before my eyes.
James...the oldest one in the group...나를 내려오게 하는 데 성공했다 (managed to get me down.) I don't know what he used, only thing I know--is that 그는 나를 정말 세게 때렸어 ( He hit me so d*mn hard.)
All I heard, was ringing in my ears.
All I could see, was blurriness.
It felt as if the world had stopped spinning.
하지만 절대 물러서지 마세요...절대 포기하지 마세요.( But never back down...never give up.)
I could feel my power restoring.
The power building up inside of me.
I felt like a device on charge.
Until I reached 100%.
My vision got better and I saw James and Wilson looking down on me...
"너희가 감히 나를 얕보느냐, 이 빌어먹을 놈들아!!!"( How dare you look down on me, you motherf*ckers!!!)
I reached for my pocket knife..this time I succeeded.
Wilson grabbed me by the neck...If I stab his hand..it might go right through my neck...but It was worth the shot.
I stabbed right through his hands and kicked him in the balls..James tried grabbing me from behind-- but someone bought him down...I couldn't see who it was...But I took a deep breath and stood over Wilson..
."조의를 표합니다, 윌슨. (My condolences, Wilson). I stabbed him right through the chest...I could hear the knife sinking into his heart...just like it did with Mrs. Bee.
I looked back, curious about who just helped me...It was...uhh...uhm...uhh..."Are you a man or a woman?".
"I'm a woman, sweetheart." the voice answered from behind the mask.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Jung Min Young."
"Jung...Min...Young?"
"Yes?, is something wro---"
I suddenly lost balance and my head began to spin. Round and round.
But Jung Min caught me just in time.
*Ambulance sirens wailing*
"야, 내 말 들려?" (Hey, can you hear me?)
I opened my eyes... seeing the same blurriness from before.
"Sweetheart?..can you hear me?"
All I could hear was Jung Min's soothing voice calling out to me.
I could barely even speak...but i managed to tell Jung Min something.
"Don't tell anyone about earlier, okay?"
She nodded and silently got out of the ambulance, as I drove to the hospital.
*machine beeping*
"Where am I...?" I murmured softly.
"I'm right here Seo Yoon.."
"Yoon?"
"No...??"
"Yoon, please ... forgive me..."
"Sweetheart, please... don't speak right now."
"Jung Min?...I did something horrible... I'm so sorry...Please forgive me..."
Right after that.. everything went black...
