I stared into the young woman's dark eyes. A few minutes earlier, looking into them had been like staring into an abyss, but now her dark eyes were so affectionate that it was difficult, if not impossible, to feel afraid.
"You're so reserved," I said, holding Justine's chin, "but you're quite naughty when you want to be."
"That is your fault. I was a pure maiden before our first encounter."
When she said that, I remembered the time she was supposed to capture Alicia and me, but ended up having sex with me instead.
"I had to thank you for saving my life back then."
"You saved Erina and me before that, so don't worry about thanking me for it."
"Don't you regret it? I mean, you and Erina jumped on board too suddenly, and now you'll have to go up against the Silver Fang."
Justine puffed out her cheeks. "Is this really the time to ask something like that? If you asked Erina, she'd probably laugh in your face."
"Well, I'm not asking Erina," I retorted playfully.
