Chapter 13 - The First Strike

The night was still.

Not even the wind dared to cross the borders of White Tiger territory.

And yet, whispers spread like wildfire across the Bloodline world.

Jon Black Tiger had risen.

Jon Black Tiger had killed six elite assassins alone.

Jon Black Tiger had taken command of an entire Bloodline in a single night.

And now…

Jon Black Tiger was marching toward the White Tiger Clan.

Jon stood at the front of Black Tiger warriors.

Behind him stood his personal triangle,

Riya,Rasha and Selene.

Selene approached him quietly.

"Master… the eastern scout post is ahead.

Two guards, both mid purity. No traps. Their rotations are sloppy."

Jon smiled. "Good. That makes this easier."

Riya stepped closer, adjusting her wrist guards.

"I'll shield the unit from detection. Just give the order."

Rasha cracked her knuckles.

"And I'll break anyone who tries to run."

Jon nodded.

"Move."

The strike unit advanced like shadow.

No sound.

No hesitation.

Only intent.

Two White Tiger mid purity warriors stood near a carved stone pillar.

One scratched his neck.

"You hear the rumors? Black Tiger's new Lord killed our entire assassin unit."

The other scoffed. "Rumors. Someone's trying to start panic. No one can kill six elites alone."

Before he could finish.

A shadow flickered.

A hand clamped over his mouth.

A claw slid into his throat.

He died instantly.

The first guard collapsed as a whisper slithered behind the second one.

"Huh? What the ?"

His head rolled into the dirt before he could turn around.

Selene stepped out of the fog, wiping her blade calmly.

"Scouts eliminated. Path clear."

Jon and the rest walked past the corpses without breaking stride.

Jon placed a hand over Riya's shoulder.

"Shield them."

Riya inhaled. A soft blue barrier expanded, enveloping the entire unit like a mist.

Then he turned to Rasha.

"Stay close to me. No one gets behind us."

Rasha's tail flicked. "Always."

He glanced at Selene.

"Is the fortress ahead as weak as you predicted?"

Selene nodded. "Their commander is a high purity warrior but predictable.

He shifts left when threatened. His blind spot is his right flank.

If you strike quickly he won't survive five seconds."

Jon's smile sharpened.

"Perfect."

Battle Probability:94 percent success.

Good.

Tonight would be productive.

The eastern fortress rose from the ground like a massive pale monolith.

White stone walls, sharp spikes, and tiger shaped statues.

Inside, dozens of White Tiger warriors patrolled.

And at the center…

Their commander.

A towering man with white stripes across his forehead.

"Another quiet night," he muttered. "Almost disappoint"

He stopped.

A pressure descended heavy, suffocating, ancient.

Then the torches went out.

White Tiger warriors froze.

Footsteps echoed from the darkness.

Slow.

Purposeful.

Deadly.

"W…what's happening?!"

The commander shouted, "Show yourselves!"

Jon stepped out of the shadows.

His eyes glowed gold.

"You wanted a fight."

He raised his claws.

"You found one."

White Tiger warriors charged, claws drawn.

Jon vanished.

Shadow Fang Strike.

He reappeared behind the commander, claws raking across the man's spine.

Blood sprayed.

The commander screamed, turning aggressively.

But Jon was already above him, heel descending

BAAM!

A crater formed in the man's chest.

The commander collapsed, twitching.

Jon raised a hand.

Bloodline Absorption.

A black vortex of energy tore from the commander's body into Jon's chest.

Absorbtion Successful.

New passive obtained: white Tiger Reflex Boost.

Combat speed increased:40 percent to 30 percent.

Riya stood at the center of the formation, shields raised as dozens of projectiles struck her defensive dome.

Her eyes glowed.

"Barrier Pulse!"

A shockwave burst from her shield, throwing five attackers backward instantly.

Rasha leaped past her, claws ripping through mid purity warriors like paper.

"Come on!" she snarled, eyes glowing silver.

"Fight someone who can rip you apart!"

While the others fought openly, Selene moved through the battlefield like a ghost.

Quiet.

Precise.

Every strike fatal.

She whispered secrets as she killed.

"That one is weak on his left."

"That pair always attacks together."

"That squad has no real training."

Her intelligence made the unit unstoppable.

Jon felt the flow of battle and knew.

This was no longer a fight.

This was a slaughter.

Within minutes, the fortress lay in ruins.

Bodies lined the ground.

Black Tiger warriors stood victorious.

Not a single casualty.

Jon walked through the corpses, his aura calm, almost regal.

Riya approached him, wiped sweat from her forehead, and smiled softly.

"You did it… we did it."

Rasha leaned against his shoulder, panting lightly. "You were… incredible."

Selene bowed deeply. "Master… this is only their outermost defense."

Jon looked toward the moonlit horizon, where the next White Tiger stronghold waited.

"Good," he said quietly.

"We're only getting started."

MISSION COMPLETE.

First Strike: Successful.

Next Directive: Infiltrate the Central White Tiger Fortress.

Black Tiger Dominance:+12 percent.
