Juren answered calmly.
"Become an Immortal."
Kiara stared at him.
Juren continued.
"As someone born in the Mortal Plane, your ascension will be an act against nature. The moment you try to step into the Immortal Realm, the Heavenly Laws will descend on you, trying to kill you as punishment for attempting to go against the laws of nature."
Kiara immediately understood.
"Lightning Tribulation."
Juren nodded.
"The divine lightning from Heaven carries far more authority than ordinary Divine artifacts. If used properly, it might be strong enough to sever the chain."
For a brief moment, a small spark of hope appeared in Kiara's eyes.
But Juren's next words quickly extinguished it.
"However… you must first become a Demigod. And only after that can you even begin seeking immortality."
He looked at her directly.
"And that journey alone takes an entire lifetime."
The small hope in Kiara's heart quietly faded.
She slowly turned her gaze toward the endless sea beyond the island.
