Lucian grinned.
"You can join a guild, complete quests, hunt beasts, earn money, explore different places, and meet new people. When Lady Kiara returns, you can proudly show her everything you accomplished by yourself. Isn't that exactly what independence looks like?"
Zion's eyes immediately glowed.
Few things made him happier than fulfilling Kiara's wishes.
"Really?"
Lucian nodded.
"Trust me."
The carriage continued toward the Guild District.
Naturally, Lucian had ulterior motives.
His father had repeatedly instructed him to gain experience by joining a top guild, but he had always considered it a waste of time.
Now, however, things were different.
If Zion accompanied him, the entire experience would become far more interesting.
More importantly, Lucian genuinely hoped Zion would eventually stop viewing himself as merely Kiara's servant.
After some time, the carriage entered the Guild District.
