Her gaze dropped to the scroll resting on the desk. It was not a communication scroll. There were folded letters inside it.
"A letter?" she asked while picking it up. "Who sent this?"
"I received that letter this morning," Arceus said while handing it to her.
Kiara unfolded the letter and began reading.
The contents explained that Arceus' mother had returned to her maternal family. It also described how his uncle had personally apologized for the betrayal committed by the elders and had begged forgiveness on behalf of the family.
The letter requested Arceus to return for the sake of House Silver's dignity. More importantly, his uncle was even willing to hand over the position of family lord to him. In the end, his mother had accepted the apology.
When Kiara finished reading, she lowered the letter and looked at him.
"What are you trying to say?"
Arceus lowered his gaze toward the floor and remained silent for several moments before finally speaking.
