Asmodeus noticed her reaction but didn't move closer right away. He simply watched her with mild interest.
"You look quite shocked," he said. "Did you really not know?"
Kiara didn't answer. Her mind was spinning too fast. She quickly called out to the system in her head.
"System… is this real? Do I really have to do that to form a contract with him?"
