Once everyone had settled into their seats, servants began pouring juice and wine into their cups. Kiara accepted a glass of juice, while Scarlett chose her drink and settled beside her. Alexander waited until the servants had finished before continuing the discussion.
"Twelve days from now, we will hold the royal banquet as announced." He looked around the table, making sure everyone was listening. "The banquet will serve two purposes. First, I will formally introduce Kyra to the nobles and other important figures of the empire. Second, we will introduce everyone eligible to participate in the throne trials."
His expression grew more serious.
"This is an important opportunity for all of you who intend to compete for the throne. You will need to establish connections with the nobles, build relationships, and secure support. Do not underestimate the importance of these things."
His gaze settled on Magnus.
