Chapter 1 - Reincarnated with a dream(rewrite)

When I died, I thought I had lived a good life — nothing special, no one to live for, just living day by day: eating, working, sleeping. But now, with the opportunity of a new life, I want to see how far I can go if I give it my all — if I try, for once.

"Yeah… I'd like to be reborn," I said, looking straight ahead where there was only darkness.

"I will not give you any boon or help. Are you ready for that?" the booming voice coming from everywhere asked.

"Yeah, send me. I really want to see what I can do now, with a new life," I answered, my voice steady, ready for what was to come. And with that, I started to see light. Trying to look around, I heard a woman crying and a man comforting her. I was born.

[5 years later]

My new name is Ren Takahashi. When I was two, watching TV because my mom left me on the couch to get something, I saw All Might. After my fifth birthday, I realized I wasn't going to get a quirk — but it doesn't matter. I'll do my best anyway. Maybe I could make myself a suit of armor like Iron Man, but I'll need to study and innovate because the appearance of quirks slowed down this world's technological evolution. Except for tech that helps quirks, not much has evolved except for I-Island.

[8 years later]

Working on the power supply, I decided to improvise, but I basically just made a variant of the Arc Reactor. After years of trial and error, I finally made it. My first step toward becoming a hero has been taken, and I can finally start my journey.

"Fuck yeah!" I yelled, laughing maniacally.

"You know, sometimes you scare me, honey…" a voice behind me said — my mother, who looked worried.

"Oh, sorry mom. It's just… I finally finished what I've been working on for five years straight. My first step toward becoming a hero," I said, scratching the back of my head. "Wait… how long have you been there?"

"I just got here." Her quirk silences her steps — basically the worst nightmare when you're trying to stay up late.

"Look mom, this is my first working Arc Reactor. This thing could power a small country for at least five years, and that's just the start," I said proudly.

"You know, you could be rich with that. You don't need to become a hero."

"Mom, you know I don't care about being rich. I will be rich, but I really want to become a hero. Even if I'm quirkless, I'll be the greatest hero you'll ever see."

"Honey, in my eyes you already are the greatest hero ever. Whatever you do, I'll be proud. But as your mother, I'm worried about what will happen to you," she said, eyes full of worry.

"I'm sorry for worrying you, but it's my dream. I promised myself to be the best version of myself, always working toward my goals and never stopping." She put her hands on my cheeks.

"I know, my so-mature little hero… but you work so hard. With all the martial arts classes, the time you spend here, and how much you study… I want you to make friends and have a normal childhood." She kissed my forehead.

"I understand. I'll make friends. But I only know one person in school who might want to be my friend — the rest hate me because I'm quirkless. His name is Izuku. He's quirkless too," I thought. Back when I first watched MHA, I didn't like him much at the start — always crying and scared — but I later realized he had no real choice. He's a product of his environment: no one ever told him he could do it, so he barely had any self-respect and esteem. But what I loved was that when the first person told him he could do it, he took it to heart and never stopped nor slowed down.

In this universe, I'll help him. At first I was scared for the canon, but fuck that — being a hero is helping anyone, anytime, anywhere. If you can act, you should.

"Mom, I'd like to talk to you about something," I said, taking out a prototype of a Sandevistan. "It is something I have been working on for the past year and..."

"And what, honey?"

"It is a spine. It would make me able to perceive and move faster, and I'd like to try and install it — but of course, not right now. I'll do it when I finish my growth."

"Are you saying that you want to take out your whole spine to replace it with something you made?" The air grew cold around me.

"Yes." With a determined look, I said it while looking straight into her eyes.

"No, absolutely not! What if you install that thing and throw away your spine? What if it breaks? You'd throw away the body I made you, the body that grew inside me for nine months, for something you made in our garage? My greatest gift to you, thrown away!"

"Mom, your greatest gift was not this body, it was my life. Look, I know you worry, but I want to be the greatest to ever do it. The best hero in the world. I want to be the one who replaces All Might in all the minds around the world. It might be scary, but I want it. Please understand. I know that for you it's just the illusion of grandeur of a ten-year-old, but for me, it's everything." She had tears in her eyes.

"Okay... but I want a few things first. One: whenever you do anything like that, before even working on it, I want to know. Second: it has to be safe. I'll call a friend of your late father; he is an inventor. He'll have to approve of everything you put in your body. I trust him, so you better listen to him. And last: I want to be there when you install anything. If there is any complication, you stop and I don't want to hear about it ever again," she listed sternly.

"Thank you, mom. I'll do everything." My father worked for a support tool company at a high level, but I'm not sure how high. Mom never told me what happened to him, but I found out some villains kidnapped him to force him to make tools; he refused, and they killed him. The killer was never found.

[Some weeks later - Izuku POV]

"Hey dude." Walking toward the cafeteria, I'm stopped by a tall guy. I've never talked to him, but if I remember right, he is in the other class.

"Y-yes, what is it?"

"Hi, I'm Takahashi Ren. It's nice to meet you."

"Um, I'm Izuku Midoriya."

"HEY DEKU, give me your wallet!" Kacchan walked toward me before putting his hand on my shoulder, making it smoke. The threat was clear.

"Sorry, could you wait a bit? I was talking here." I'd never seen someone talk to Kacchan like that.

"And who are you?" Now he put his hand on Takahashi's shoulder.

"Oh, hi. I'm Takahashi Ren." Looking at the smoking hand, he wasn't scared at all.

"Okay, Takahashi Ren. You see this guy behind me? This is Deku. He is a quirkless nerd who believes he is gonna be a hero. If you didn't know, this guy is useless, so whatever you need him for, go find someone else."

"Yeah, I know. Me too."

"Me too what?"

"Oh, you too, me too. I'm a quirkless nerd who wants to become a hero."

"What? Seriously? I thought Deku was a rare specimen, but a second one in the same school? Never saw that coming."

"And let me guess, you too want to become a hero?" In a flash, Takahashi twisted Kacchan's arm, swept his leg, and threw him into the air. "You should start by becoming a decent human being first. Right now, you look more like a rabid dog than anything else." Kacchan got up, but before he could retaliate, a teacher saw what was going on.

"Takahashi, what is going on here?"

"Nothing, teach. I was talking to Midoriya, and then this guy comes here asking for his wallet. I was like 'I'm talking here, can you wait?', but he did not want to wait. And here we are. Oh, and I don't know why, but he likes to put his hands on the shoulders of people. Maybe it's a kink thing, I'm not sure."

"Bakugo, Takahashi, follow me to the principal's office. I'll call your parents."

[Takahashi POV]

"Hey mom, how was your day?" I ask without a shade of worry.

"Great, honey. So, what did you do for me to get called?" You can hear it in her tone; she trusts me and knows that I would never do something uncalled for that gets me in trouble.

"You know how you wanted me to get friends and I talked to you about Midoriya? It's his bully," I said, pointing my thumb at Bakugo, who sat next to me with an angry look.

"Oh, great job, honey," she whispered in my ear.

"KATSUKI!" From the corridor, his mom walked in. "WHAT DID YOU DO?" she shouted, walking toward him.

The principal walked out of his office. "Uh, please come inside. We'll talk calmly." He was clearly intimidated by Mama Bakugo.

Sitting down, we all looked at him. "So, I called you here because your sons fought, and we can't have that in our school." He took a really formal tone.

"It was not a fight; it was just differing opinions. And if there had been a fight, I would have broken his arm," I said, pointing at Katsuki.

"Ah, like you could, you nerd!" He sneered at me.

"Shut up!" both the moms said at the same time.

"Right. Like I said, I don't want any violence here, so I'm thinking of at least two hours of detention for a week. They both have bright futures, so I will not report it anywhere." I really wanted to say something like how he never defended Midoriya when he was getting bullied. No, fuck it, I'm not going to let him sit there like he's doing us a favor.

"Yeah, right. Like you stop him and his friends from bullying Izuku Midoriya. Don't get on your high horse when it's obvious that you don't care about the violence going on in this school. And don't say you're not aware of it; your office is between our classes, and when 'Boom Boom' here plays with his quirk, everyone hears it."

"Shut—" Before Katsuki could finish, he was smacked on the back of his head.

"You've been bullying Izuku? What were you thinking?! I was not sure, but since you've been rambling about being the number one hero, I thought you knew not to do this kind of thing. But I was wrong! And you," she looked at the principal, "you failed at your job! You should have made me aware of his actions, and Izuku's mother too. They grew up together; she is my friend. We could have worked it out or something!" She looked furious, like I have never seen someone get in both of my lives.

"Look, what you're gonna do is give them both their detention. Of course, let's not put it in their report cards; they need to learn. And from now on, I don't want to hear about it anymore," this time my mom said with a cold tone, looking down at the principal, who was shaking like a leaf.

"Of c-course," he started to sweat.

"Honey, follow me." She got up and walked out.

"Thank you, mom. You know, you are really cool."

"I know. And this new friend, I want to meet him. Invite him home one of these days."

"Sure." From this day on, even if Bakugo was still insulting, he never laid a hand on Izuku. The canon did not change much; Bakugo still told him to jump and Izuku still impressed All Might, but I was not there to see it.

[5 years later - 2 months before the exam]

As promised to my mother, I sent everything to my father's friend. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that my late father's friend was David Shield! So I did not have to worry about what I sent him. But of course, I asked my mom to contact a lawyer before sending anything; I had to make sure my design would not fall into the wrong hands. He wouldn't share my design without my consent and would inform me if there was any leak.

Right now, I'm walking toward UA with Izuku next to me. He's a bit more confident, taller, and more muscular. When I befriended him, he started following me around, so I brought him to martial arts classes. We bonded over analyzing heroes' and villains' powers. He even gave me ideas on how to counter certain abilities.

"So, are you ready for the practical exam?" I asked, since he'd been whispering nonstop in the metro, scaring a few people around us.

"The most I'll ever be," he said, eyes glued to his notebook — just before stumbling and Ochaco catching him.

"Sorry, I didn't warn you. I used my quirk on you. You must be stressed about the exam. Good luck!" she said, waving and walking away.

"Look, Ren — I just talked to a girl," he said proudly.

"If you want to believe that," I sighed. He has so much to learn.

"Out of the way, extras!" Katsuki suddenly barked, entering the scene like a piece of shit as always.

"As always, something smart to say, Katsuki," I muttered, while Izuku scrambled to wish him good luck or something.

"You know, you really should just tell him to fuck off."

"So, what did you bring for the exam?" he asked, changing the subject.

"While you did whatever for the last ten months, I put a drone in the sky with some stuff that can deliver a prototype, and I made a small thing," I said, pointing at my back. I'd installed a Sandevistan along my spine. I had already reinforced my skeleton and joints to handle it at maximum output, but I can use it at half power without any problems. Making it was hard: it works by extreme brain overclocking, a mechanical/muscular turbocharger, and a body stabilization system, all compressed into a spine.

At first, I focused on external gadgets, nothing that touched my body. But a year earlier, I took the first step and reinforced my skeleton when I broke my leg fighting a guy whose quirk solidifies his muscles — he can't move, but he's as hard as rock. He cheated in a karate competition, but it made me realize I needed an upgrade.

"And you? Did you prepare anything?" I asked, checking if he'd mention his new quirk.

"Yeah… I worked really hard these last ten months. Harder than before," he said, looking conflicted.

We finally arrived at our seats next to Katsuki. We focused on the pamphlet with the exam instructions. Present Mic explained everything — this time without interruptions. I'm in city C. The others are in A and B. Who am I gonna be with? On the bus, I looked around and spotted the plant-hair girl and Kendo whom i met some times with Ojiro in competition from 1-B, and Tokoyami and Shoji from 1-A.

[Aizawa POV]

Like every year, people fall into the trap of waiting for the countdown — except three people: one took off with explosions, one simply ran, and the last just disappeared. Looking at their forms, I see they all come from the same school.

Reading Takahashi Ren's file, I hand it to Nezu without saying anything.

"Oh, I see. Don't worry, it's not an error — it's the truth. When I first saw it, I didn't believe it either. But he really is quirkless. He just uses tech he made himself. Look closely at the back of his neck — you can see he has something attached," Nezu said, eyes sparkling with obsession.

All Might turned toward us when Nezu said "quirkless."

"If he isn't able to keep up with the others, he will not get any preferential treatment."

"No, he won't — and I don't think he wants one. On the psychological test from his previous school, he said he takes pride in what he is and nothing will change that." While we talked, he already got twelve points — short bursts of speed, decapitating robots.

"Wait, are you saying this young man moving faster than a car is quirkless, with a piece of tech so small we can't even see it under his clothes?" All Might asked, shocked.

"Not exactly — we can't see it because it's under his skin. Still very impressive. Here, read this," Nezu said, handing him a chart — the support items chart.

"Let's see… reinforced skeleton and joints… something called a Sandevistan… special contact lenses… a drone with more equipment…" All Might read aloud. Everyone was shocked except Nezu — he already knew.

"D-do you know what a Sandevistan is?" Midnight asked.

"I didn't, but he kindly sent me a technical sheet after I asked. It basically accelerates his perception and body functions to a certain degree. If pushed too far, it can break him," Nezu said, sipping tea before laughing maniacally. "I have to say, he's getting better by the second. He must have analyzed the bots and adapted his strategy. I already want to throw the zero-pointer at him to see what he does — but it's too early," he muttered.

[Ren POV]

It's been seven minutes already. That means the exam ends in three. I have 80 normal points, plus some rescue points from helping people. I didn't want to take all the points — that would be mean — so I just stopped the danger and let them fix their mistakes.

Right now I'm on a roof, watching for anyone in danger. Everything seems fine. I'll just wait for the zero-pointer.

The building started to shake. From under me, a giant hand tried to grab me, but I activated my Sandevistan and moved between its fingers, jumping onto the next roof.

"Speaking of the wolf… that was a bit mean, coming out like that. You look like you found your prey," I said. It was focused on me. Nezu definitely had a plan — or he just wanted to see what I'd do.

"Since you're focused on me, follow me, trash can," I yelled, looking for a place with fewer people.

[Aizawa POV]

Between All Might and Nezu obsessing over the green-haired boy or the quirkless one, I looked at the screen Nezu was staring at. The zero-pointer was heading straight for Takahashi.

"Hey, what's going on? Why is the bot focused?"

"Because I made it follow a specific target," Nezu said calmly.

"You WHAT!? You released a zero-pointer on a quirkless boy?" I shouted.

"I want to see what he can do. And the zero isn't that strong — you're underestimating him. He's only shown us three items from his support chart. I want to see the rest," Nezu said, eyes glued to the screen.

[Third POV]

"So you want to see what I can do? Sorry to disappoint, but in this kind of situation, I prefer to play it safe," Ren muttered as he jumped from roof to roof, rolling his left sleeve up. A hologram appeared, and he typed on it.

"This little shit is trying to hack my toy! Who does he think he is? Humans are so arrogant, I'll show you!" Nezu was typing on his computer in front of me, laughing maniacally.

"The exam is finished!" Present Mic yelled.

[Ren Takahashi POV]

"Hey you — I didn't say it earlier, but thank you! This guy is the GOAT; he helped me and didn't even steal the two-pointer!" a student shouted, pointing at me.

"It was nothing, really," I said, walking away.

Going toward the teachers' building, I saw Ochaco speaking to Present Mic — must be about Izuku. When they finished, I approached Mic.

"Hey, Mister Mic, can you show me where Izuku Midoriya is? I'm 1000% sure he got injured, so I want to check on him, tell his mom… get some brownie points… and actual brownies," I said, mouth watering.

"Yeah sure, follow me! Hey, you're that quirkless dude! What you did was awesome — incredibly fast with no quirk! Amazing!" he rambled.

He opened the infirmary door. "Hey Midoriya, you got a visitor!"

"Yo Izuku, how you doing?" I asked.

"No please, don't tell mom yet — I'll tell her myself," he begged.

"Look, if UA didn't call her, you're going home like that and facing her alone. No one wins. BUT if I tell her, I get brownie points… and I'll share the brownies," I said seriously. Waving my hands in front of him — he'd destroyed his jacket, and she was bound to ask questions. He suddenly looked serious too.

"Okay… I trust you. But all the food you get from this, you share. Deal?"

Deal.

[Start of School]

I'm walking toward Nezu's office. He wanted to see me before class. I knocked.

"Come in."

"Hello, Principal Nezu. You wanted to see me?"

"Yes, Takahashi. Sit down. Would you like some tea?" I shook my head no. "I'm very interested in your creations, especially your implants. I want to know if there will be any problems for you, and how far you plan to go."

"There won't be any problems. I just need to make sure my brain can handle the power from the implant. And to be honest… I don't know how far I'll go." I won't replace my dick, but as for the rest, I'm not sure.

"Good. Then I have a proposition. I want you to follow some of the support course classes. It would be a waste to limit you to hero courses. Here is your possible timetable."

It was full — very full. But honestly, I never had much of a social life. If I'm not working on tech, I'm training or studying.

"Can I have the day to think about it?" I asked.

"Of course. Have a great day."

Finally arriving at the 1-A classroom — still early — I walked in and saw Momo Yaoyorozu, looking excited to be here.

"Hello, my name is Takahashi Ren. How are you?" I said with a smile, looking for my seat. There was an odd number of seats… at first, I thought I was taking someone's place, but it seems they made an exception.

"Hello, my name is Momo Yaoyorozu, it is nice to meet you." She spoke confidently, back straight, looking me in the eyes.

"A pleasure." Finally finding my seat, two rows over from her, I set down my bag and sat.

"So, how did you do on the exam?" finding nothing else to talk about.

"Oh, I am a recommended student. I had an exam, but not like yours. But what was your exam like? I'd like to know how Japan's top superhero school does their selection."

"It was nothing too hard. For the writing part, I aced it. On the practical one, we had multiple robots, each with a value. It really is not much, but I feel like this year's practical was not adapted well. Like, imagine our teacher Midnight, whose quirk is a gas, against robots. She has a clear disadvantage. This year was more focused on raw power than anything else."

"Oh, I see. So, what is your quirk?"

"I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours."

"My quirk is Creation. If I know the composition of something, I can use the fat in my body to make it through my skin."

"That's interesting. So can you make a nuke out of thin air? Or make gases? You have Midnight's quirk in all of its possible forms. Just a question, can you make objects?"

"Yes, I can make items, but I need to know the exact mechanism to make them. And yes, I can make gas, but it takes too much fat to do that, so I avoid it."

"What an incredible quirk. I'm quirk—" Just before I could finish saying "quirkless," someone opened the door loudly. It was Ashido, and behind her was Kirishima.

"Look, I told you we were not too early! There are already two people here. Hello, my name is Ashido Mina, and this is Eijiro Kirishima."

"Hey!"

"Nice to meet you. I am Momo Yaoyorozu, and this is Takahashi Ren."

"Yo." Taking out my phone, I saw a message. It was Izuku; he was in the school but he'd got lost. What is going on with him? "I'll be back in a minute, my friend got lost." Walking out, I called him.

"Hey dude, where are you?"

"I think I'm near the support course." Walking toward it, I saw him looking around. He looked really tired.

"Hey, what is going on dude? You look tired. What did you do last night, or maybe who did you do?" I teased him. He's so immature about this kind of thing, he started to blush. "You know, with how much I joke with you about this, you should be used to it by now, but you still blush. You'll never get a girlfriend like that."

"What do you know? You have as much experience as me!" Wow, he bit back. Finally, a bit of confidence.

"From what you know..."

"What does that mean? Do you have a girlfriend?" he asked, following behind me.

When we got back, almost everyone was there with the exception of Ochaco. There were already some groups formed, and the loners like Katsuki, Todoroki, and Iida. I sat watching Izuku trying to talk to Iida just as Ochaco arrived.

"Hey you two, get to your seats. We aren't here to make friends, but to make heroes." Looking at the man, he really looked like a hobo — not to be mean, but he was poorly shaved inside a sleeping bag. "It took you 8 seconds to get silent. Know that every second matters, so use them well. My name is Shota Aizawa; I'm your homeroom teacher. Let's not waste more time. Take your tracksuits and join me on the sports field."

Inside the changing room: "Wow, I didn't get to see it up close, but this thing is directly around your spine," Izuku said, pointing at the Sandy and attracting attention.

"Correction: it is my spine. I replaced it with the Sandevistan before the exam," I said, not bothering to look back.

"That's not all, right? Looking at your arms..."

"Yeah, I replaced them completely. I tried to make them look a bit human, but it was pretty hard." Looking back now, I saw everyone looking at me.

"That's so cool! How did you get this kind of thing?" Kirishima looked at me with stars in his eyes.

"I made them."

"What can they do?" Looking at my right arm, even if I tried to make it look human, it was obvious it could open and had many mechanisms inside, with lines that showed a bit of metal under the fake skin.

"I'll show you later. Let's not keep the teacher waiting."

Joining Aizawa on the field, he gave his speech about the fact that he can basically do what he wants, as UA encourages a free kind of teaching where the teacher chooses how he wants to teach.

"Takahashi, you scored first on the exam. Get in the circle and throw the ball as far as you can." Throwing me the ball, I walked toward the circle. It was a small circle, so I couldn't really run up and throw. Inside it, I activated the Sandevistan and started spinning, using the boosters in the elbow of my right arm and the palm of my left to give me more speed.

With my speed, for them, the second I was in the circle, sand started to rise and flames appeared out of nowhere. "Not bad. 1100 meters," Aizawa said, showing it to the rest of the class.

"Wow, 1100 meters? We are not joking around," Kaminari said.

"Wow, we can use our quirks? It's gonna be great!" Ashido added.

"We are going to have a blast!" Sero chimed in.

"So you think the next three years are going to be fun? I see. The worst one of you today is going to be expelled. Welcome to UA." Some looked dejected.

"It's our first day, are you really gonna expel one of us? It's not fair!" Ochaco asked.

"Natural disasters, villain incidents, or even being born quirkless — all those things are not fair and still happen daily. Japan is filled with injustice. I'm here to teach you how to act during these disasters. While we have you at UA, we'll teach you, among other things, pain. You'll go past your limits. Plus Ultra and all that. So come and give it your all."

50-meter run: Really simple. Using my Sandy, this was a breeze. Half a second. Really simple. Izuku was still pitiful; I try hard to help him, but it's still early for him to use One For All casually, so it's okay. But I'll give him a bit of a training session. Thinking of using his feet after three seasons, what a joke.

Grip strength: My metal fingers slowly started to tighten until I pushed the machine to its limit.

Long jump: Running up with the Sandy, I cleared the sand and landed beyond.

Sidestep: Really, the Sandy is overpowered.

Like in the anime, when it was Izuku's turn, Aizawa intervened, but finally, he threw the ball and did better than in the anime: 856 meters. So I did influence him to be better. Looking back, I saw the Pomeranian with an angry look. I used the Sandy to go next to him discreetly and put my arm around his shoulder, not letting him go.

"You really need to get to therapy for your anger issues, seriously. First day at UA and you look like you're gonna kill him," I whispered to him before he could try and attack Izuku. "This is a hero school and you look like a villain. Look around you; what are you gonna do to him in front of a new teacher and new classmates?" He seemed to calm down a little; at least he is a bit rational. Nobody seemed to have noticed us as everyone was focused on Izuku. He surprised everyone; until now, they thought he was really shit.

"Did you know about that? How did he... since when?" He looked at me like I'd killed his dog.

"Let's make something clear: you're not entitled to any of those answers. I mean, you told him to kill himself and now what? Because he did not tell you about his quirk, you're gonna cry?" In the anime, I hated him at the start, but it's really the logic behind the anime that annoyed me. This fucker has been tormenting a dude for almost 11 years, and now he thinks he deserves anything? Even if I know that he is a product of the society around him, he has loving parents, a good situation, and he adulates the greatest hero in this universe — and the only thing he remembers is his strength and heroics. What, has he not seen him protecting the weak and innocent?

Then it was time for the abdominal and flexibility tests and endurance. Even if I did not have much to help with those, I'd trained all my life.

"Okay, I'll quickly tell the results. The total is simply the marks you got from each test. It's a waste of time to explain verbally, so I'll show you the results all at once."

"By the way, I was lying about the expulsion." This was funny; they all looked at Aizawa with big eyes, with a few exceptions. "It was a rational deception to draw out the upper limits of your quirks." Izuku lost his soul just like that.

"Of course that was a lie. It should've been obvious if you just thought it through." If I remember correctly, it was not a lie, even if he took back Class 2-A after expelling them. "With that we are done. There are handouts with the curriculum and such in the classroom, so when you get back, look over them."

"So with the arms and your spine, what else did you do?" Kirishima asked while we were all changing.

"I don't have much for now. There are the arms, the Sandevistan, some subdermal armor, reinforced bones, and bionic joints — all made by me." I might have to sell some of them and install them; it smells like business. For now, just some heroes like Aizawa, Midnight, and some heroes that need reinforcing.

"That's so manly!"

"And that's just the stuff in me. I made some other things and plan to put more in me later. You should see the thing I had to make before installing what I have." I'd had to first make a robot able to operate on me, and then an AI smart enough to handle any problem that might happen. It took me years.

"Yeah, like you can't just operate on yourself, so how did you do it?" Shoji looked at me curiously.

"I made a robot and an AI. The robot is just multiple arms on the ceiling." Needs some upgrades before bigger operations.

"That's so cool!" Kaminari said with stars in his eyes.

"So we didn't present ourselves. My name is Takahashi Ren; you can call me Ren." "Eijiro Kirishima." "Mezo Shoji." "Denki Kaminari." "I'm Minoru Mineta." "I-Izuku Midoriya." "My name is Tenya Iida." (A bit stuck up.) "KATSUKI BAKUGO!" (Why is he shouting?) "Shoto Todoroki."

Everyone presented themselves and we got back into the class to get timetables and such. I left to go see Nezu. If I want to sell some implants and install them, I'm going to join the support course and show off some things during the sports festival. Knocking on his door, I heard "Come in."

"Ah, Takahashi. So, did you think of my proposition?"

"Yeah. But if I could, I'd like to take the test for Math, English, Japanese, and all the other subjects now. Since the support classes are in the morning and the hero ones are in the afternoon, I want to clear them."

"Here, you can take them now." Taking out the exams he had prepared from his desk.

"You knew I would do that."

"It was a possibility." And for the next few hours, I did the exams before giving them back.

"Thank you. Tomorrow you can go to the support course. I will tell Power Loader to accept you, and Aizawa to not expect you."

Walking out of UA, I got called by my mom. "Hey honey, how was your first day? You should be home by now."

"Yeah, it was great. Principal Nezu was impressed by my tech, so he proposed I join the support course secondary to the hero one. My classmates seem fun; some of them are a bit touched in the head, but yeah, that's about it. So, how was your day?"
