Johnny was walking home with his drunk best friend, Bob. They just got back from a party where he just vibed and drank a few drinks and talked to ladies while his friend was flat-out drunk doing stupid shenanigans. So Johnny had to carry him while walking down a dark road made of gravel with the dark, ominous forest to the left, then the rails, and then a hill down to the city.
Looking at the city lights was beautiful even when he was carrying 200 pounds of man. And Bob was also speaking nonsense because, just because! It didn't make any sense but he just tuned it out. Johnny moved his hat a bit, which was the most unique part about him; his entire outfit was a blue jacket with a t-shirt under and jeans but the blue hat had a golden flat rectangle that was stamped into his hat and spelled out "Johnny" on it. He got it from some rich drunk guy while walking in the afternoon when that man decided to drop 200k at his feet.
It was short to say that he didn't really spend it well. But then Johnny heard a rattle; he slowly looked, not really scared but something came out. Johnny's first instinct was to jump and leave Bob but it sadly missed Bob meaning he'd still have to carry the deadweight. It did go over the rails and tumble on the weed, but Bob started to get up tumbled and then fell down and tumbled on the hill too.
But when the thing climbed up, it didn't kill Bob. The thing was some small flesh mutation that was missing half its body. It got to Johnny's level in altitude and then charged at him. He was about to say prayers before he died but then it got shot square dead in the face. Johnny looked shocked and was about to pass out; it was some sheriff.
Johnny looked at him weasy then fell and passed out.
