Chapter 50 - Chapter 48: Black Widow: There are always villains who want to harm me

Long Island Villa.

After more than ten consecutive days, Wind God II was finally completed.

Looking at Wind God II before her, Rimuru's entire heart was cheering. It truly felt like love at first sight.

The mech's lines were smooth, its modules cleanly structured, and its proportions perfectly balanced, fully displaying the beauty of mechanical engineering.

Its overall color scheme was silver-white, accented with red and blue, complementing the metallic texture and giving off a strong sci-fi aesthetic.

Especially the external armor—though composed of many layered modules—it was arranged with meticulous precision, seamlessly integrated, and designed to make the most of aerodynamics.

In a sense, Wind God II was no longer just a crude war machine, but a work of art.

With the addition of Multiple Barriers, Rimuru had significantly reduced the armor's thickness, but the design premise was to fight giants like the Hulk.

Therefore, compared to Fengshen One, Wind God II was still a colossal beast.

At first glance, it even resembled a mobile war fortress, radiating overwhelming aggression.

Its energy system had also been replaced with a new reactor, giving it excellent performance with almost no weaknesses.

When Rimuru touched its armor, the unique warmth-and-coolness of the metal transmitted through her fingertips and straight into her mind, giving her the feeling of floating on clouds.

Anything made by the Great Sage was guaranteed to be top-tier!

While Rimuru was celebrating the birth of Wind God II, Natasha arrived at the villa entrance once again.

Unlike her previous visit, this time Natasha carried less arrogance and more reverence.

In human history, Captain America was the first widely recognized Super Hero.

And honestly, he was pretty much the only one.

Many tried to restart the Super Soldier program afterward, but every attempt failed.

As for Natasha herself, the Soviet modifications had greatly enhanced her immune system, physical resistance, and even slowed her aging.

In a sense, Natasha was half-cyborg already—and physically, she was the closest thing to another Captain America.

She had been an Agent for many years and never feared battle. That was the source of her confidence.

But the emergence of the Hulk completely redefined her understanding of combat power.

Originally, Natasha didn't believe Rimuru's nonsense at all. But judging from the Director's reactions, some portion of what Rimuru said might actually be true.

And humans always hold reverence toward the unknown, the mysterious, and the uncontrollable.

After pressing the doorbell, she waited.

Natasha was actually looking forward to this meeting. The thought of a half-year vacation and three million dollars provided even more motivation.

When she saw Rimuru again, Natasha couldn't help feeling amazed.

It was hard to imagine how such a delicate, adorable young girl could transform into a bouncy, squishy blue ball so easily.

And the thought that she had to ask this girl for a way to defeat a monster like the Hulk made the whole situation feel unreal.

Rimuru stared at Natasha's chest, her expression turning inexplicably strange.

Yes, Natasha's figure was indeed attractive, but more importantly—she had hidden something outrageous there.

Deserving of the codename Black Widow, Natasha had listening devices, voice recorders, and other equipment concealed in her ears, chest, stockings, under her skirt, and several other secret places.

Rimuru suspected she might have a four-dimensional bra. If Natasha pulled out a full-length sword from it one day, Rimuru wouldn't be surprised at all.

But the real question was—what if any of those gadgets touched water or short-circuited?

Not everyone had Rimuru's Electrical Resistance after all!

Rimuru sat casually on the sofa. "You didn't come for no reason. What do you need from me?"

Natasha smiled gently. Rimuru's earlier expression had already made everything clear.

Rimuru wasn't exposing her, and she was willing to play along. Communicating with smart people was always comfortable.

Natasha said, "Half a day ago, General Ross fought the Hulk in the forest park, and General Ross was completely crushed. The military has requested S.H.I.E.L.D.'s assistance. I want to ask—in the movies you mentioned, how did humans defeat the Hulk?"

Rimuru blinked. First, Hulk had already caused chaos in New York while she was focused on Wind God II?

Second… Natasha actually came to ask how the Hulk was defeated in the movies?

Rimuru's expression twitched. Had S.H.I.E.L.D. actually believed the nonsense she spouted last time?

Once might be luck. But tricking them again was a blessing.

Just the thought of misleading them further made Rimuru's entire body tingle with excitement.

Natasha sensed Rimuru's sudden enthusiasm and felt a chill. Why did she suddenly have a bad feeling?

An illusion?

Rimuru looked at her and said solemnly, "Sister Natasha, you might not know this, but in the movies, the person who defeated the Hulk… was you."

"…What?"

Natasha froze completely.

Was this a joke?

With her physique, the Hulk could one-shot her with a flick of his finger.

And Rimuru wasn't the type to call someone "sister" for no reason.

Using her years of experience, her instincts, and her knowledge in psychology, Natasha realized one thing:

There was definitely a trap here.

One hundred percent.

Is Rimuru getting revenge for tricking her into going to elementary school last time?

I only asked you to go to elementary school! I didn't send you to your death! How can you be this petty?!

Defeat the Hulk??

WTF.

Natasha genuinely wanted to walk out the door, but she had multiple hidden communication devices on her.

Even though she came alone, Egghead could hear the entire conversation.

She regretted everything.

Why did she hide the devices so well? If she hid them more obviously, she could pretend Rimuru discovered them and got mad—then Rimuru would kick her out!

She smiled on the outside while cursing on the inside.

Knowing there's a trap and still having to jump—this was pain no one could imagine.

With a stiff smile, Natasha asked, "In the movie… how did I defeat the Hulk?"

Rimuru answered with complete seriousness, "Sister Natasha, there's a classic movie called King Kong. I'm sure you've seen it."

King Kong?

Natasha's eyes narrowed. King Kong was indeed a classic.

King Kong fought airplanes on the Empire State Building and won. What defeated him wasn't modern weapons—it was beauty.

Did Rimuru mean…

Natasha shot to her feet.

"Sorry, I don't know it, I've never seen it, goodbye!"
