Chapter 29 - Chapter 29: Saiyan Versus The Academy 2

‎Katsuki Bakugo pushed himself up from the cracked earth, palms smoking from his last explosion. His red eyes burned with fury, veins bulging across his forehead like rivers of rage. "Who the hell is this guy?" he snarled, spitting blood onto the sand. "All Might? You got any idea?"

‎Toshinori Yagi—All Might in his true, weakened form no longer, but still towering in his muscled hero physique despite the torn costume—rose slowly, one hand pressed to his side where ribs had cracked. His iconic smile was gone, replaced by a grim determination. "I do not know, young Bakugo," he admitted, voice steady but laced with pain. "He's unlike anyone I've ever fought. His punches… they carry a weight that defies explanation. It's almost as if he's toying with us, testing our limits."

‎He scanned the horizon, golden hair whipping in the hot wind. No civilians. No backup. No limits. "Here… we can go all out." All Might clenched his massive fists until the knuckles whitened, muscles rippling under blood-streaked skin. A spark of his old fire returned to his eyes.

‎Bakugo's scowl twisted into a feral grin. "Finally. Agreed." Nitroglycerin sweat beaded on his palms, ready to ignite.

‎Before either could move, the sky itself seemed to scream.

‎Goku materialized above them in an instant—arms crossed casually over a bright black gi, wild black hair defying gravity. The air pressure shifted violently, sending ripples across the dunes like waves on water. He hovered there, smiling down at them with genuine curiosity rather than malice.

‎"Are you the best this world has to offer?" Goku asked, his voice calm, almost cheerful. "Because if you are… there's really nothing you can do to stop me."

‎Bakugo's explosions roared to life in response, propelling him upward in a streak of fire and smoke. "Shut up and die, you spiky-haired freak!"

‎All Might launched forward at the same moment, faster than sound, the ground shattering beneath his feet in a shockwave that hurled sand miles outward. "United States of SMASH!" he bellowed, pouring every ounce of One For All's remaining power into a single, earth-rending punch aimed straight for Goku's chest.

‎Goku didn't even uncross his arms at first. He tilted his head slightly, eyes tracking the incoming blow with casual interest. At the last millisecond, he sidestepped—All Might's fist whistled through empty air, the sheer force creating a vacuum that sucked in sand and rock before exploding outward in a mushroom-shaped plume.

‎Goku's hand snapped out, fingers closing around All Might's thick neck like a vice. With effortless strength, he swung the Symbol of Peace downward. All Might slammed into a distant mountain range, the impact carving a new valley through solid stone. Boulders the size of houses tumbled away as the peak collapsed in a roaring avalanche of dust and debris.

‎"ALL MIGHT!" Bakugo roared, propelling himself higher. He thrust both palms forward. "Die!" Massive spheres of explosive fire erupted from his hands—Howitzer Impact-level blasts, each one hot enough to melt steel—streaking toward Goku in a barrage that lit the desert like a second sun.

‎Goku vanished in the dust cloud, the explosions blooming harmlessly where he'd stood moments before.

‎Bakugo barely had time to blink before a fist connected with his gut. The impact drove him straight down, cratering the ground in a perfect circle the size of a small town. Shockwaves rolled outward, flattening dunes and cracking bedrock. Bakugo lay in the center, coughing blood, his costume shredded, ribs screaming in protest.

‎"BAKUGO!"

‎Izuku Midoriya—Deku—dropped from the sky like a green comet, One For All crackling across his body at full power. "Detroit SMASH!" His fist, wrapped in emerald energy, hammered into Goku's side with enough force to split the earth in a mile-long fissure.

‎Goku staggered—actually staggered—for the first time. A thin line of blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. He wiped it away with the back of his hand and grinned wider. "Now we're talking! That actually stung a little."

‎He charged.

‎Deku met him head-on, fists blurring in a storm of punches. Their clashes rang out like thunderclaps, each impact sending out blasts of wind that scoured the desert clean. Deku's right arm buckled first—knuckle bones fracturing under the strain of One For All at maximum output. Pain lanced through him, but he gritted his teeth and swung with his left.

‎Goku caught the blow in an open palm, twisted, and shattered Deku's forearm with a sickening crack. Before Deku could react, Goku's other hand pressed against his chest. A point-blank ki blast erupted—pure golden energy that lit the sky brighter than day.

‎The explosion was visible from orbit: a blooming sphere of light that carved a new canyon across the wasteland, vaporizing rock and sending shockwaves that rattled distant cities.

‎When the dust settled, Deku lay in a smoking crater, costume in tatters, breathing ragged. Blood dripped from his mouth, but his eyes still burned with unyielding resolve.

‎From the rubble of the shattered mountain, All Might erupted upward, floating in the air on sheer willpower. His hero costume hung in ribbons from neck to waist, blood streaming from his lips, face, chest, and hands. Yet his posture remained proud, unbreakable.

‎"I'm taking you down now!" All Might declared, voice echoing across the ruined landscape.

‎Goku's aura flared—yellow lightning crackling around his body, hair lifting as power surged. His eyes narrowed with excitement. "Bring it on."

‎The two titans clashed again. All Might unleashed a barrage: Texas Smash, California Smash, Oklahoma Smash—each blow a cataclysm that reshaped the terrain. Goku danced through them, countering with precise, devastating strikes that cracked ribs and drew more blood.

‎Bakugo staggered to his feet, explosions propelling him back into the fray. "I'm not done yet, you bastard!" He unleashed a cluster barrage—smaller, faster explosions that filled the air like fireworks from hell.

‎Deku rose too, broken arms hanging uselessly, but legs still fueled by One For All. He launched a Shoot Style kick that grazed Goku's cheek, drawing a thin line of red.

‎Goku laughed—not mocking, but thrilled. "You guys are tough! I will give you that!"

‎The battle raged on under the merciless sun, dunes turning to glass from the heat of explosions and ki blasts, mountains crumbling, the earth itself trembling. Three heroes, battered beyond reason, refused to yield. One Saiyan, holding back yet pushing harder with every passing second, began to wonder just how far these strange warriors would go to protect their world.

‎And the desert watched in silence as the clash of worlds reached its fever pitch…
